I said he was rubbish in that game, which he was. The post that I made in this thread was overhyped based on what I've seen. Pretty reasonable, no?
But do you see how you are open to ridicule? You've watched him play 5 times. All for England and concluded he's overhyped. That opinion is about as valuable as a deleted post mate. I'm not meaning to be harsh, but you seem to have 36 posts in this thread of no value.

Anybody else think that first eleven is enough to challenge for the title? That's how much of an impact I think he could have. We would have some decent depth too.
Would be a very good first team but I think we're still only fighting for 2nd place with that defense. I hope last season was a fluke for DDG and he returns to his best, otherwise DDG, Maguire, and Lindelof just aren't on the same page a lot of times and we suffered for it.

With that said, just bringing in Sancho makes our front line so dynamic. As it stands now we have Rashford - Martial - Greenwood. If anyone of those three are not on their game it becomes so lopsided and almost contagious to the other two. Ole doesn't make changes because our options are Lingard, Mata, or James off the bench. Rashford - Martial - Sancho allows us to have a great player on the bench who can play anywhere in that front three, is double footed, and a serious goal threat. What PL manager would not like to have that front three with anyone of the four as an option off the bench?

Get it done Ed!

Would they though? Not paying 120 million for a 20 year old doesn't sound much worse than not being bale to agree personal terms with him or is it. Not trying to piss on these last press briefings but I'm still cautios as Dortmund have been proper cnuts during this saga.
They already briefed the fee is not an obstacle via James Cooper so doubt the fee will be a problem as it will be structured and yes BVB have been acting like cnuts hence why we`ve been sorting things with Sancho and his camp first so that when we do approach BVB and if they try to block a move Sancho and his agency now have the power to push for a move now that we have a full agreement with them and under that circumstance they`ll have to sell. BVB can then use that as the reason they sold Sancho when the deal materializes thats how much of a chain reaction personal terms sets.

I don’t know if I should be going to bed so that I can wake up and it be Sanchoday, or stay awake incase I miss any developments.

Half of those posts must have been today.

And OK, yes, that sums it up. I've seen him play 6 times for England and I've come to the conclusion that considering his impending massive transfer fee and how highly some talk of him here that's he's overhyped. Again, just cause I think he's overhyped does not mean I think he's shit.

Have you ever given an opinion of a player after a handful of games? Especially a throwaway comment on a forum? I suspect the answer is yes.

If he plays in England next season then I'll see more of him and maybe I'll change my mind.

I’m not sure what the thought process behind the brief is? Not sure it benefits any negotiating party. United don’t do this usually.

What's your problem? And a laughing emoji makes one a wordsmith? Stop being so sensitive. Jesus

Not sensitive, I just (sometimes!) call nonsense when I see it. Also you come across as incredibly sensitive there yourself, what’s all this gibberish about a wordsmith? (Won’t use an emoji here; you seem sensitive about them)

On with the thread, anyway...

OK, I'll move on from this now as it's going off-topic. Glad to hear you're not sensitive but your response to my post seemed OTT, but whatever, have a nice evening.

We really are a bunch of sad muppets aren’t we. I’m checking this fecking thread every five bloody minutes

He doesn’t know shit. Just acts like he is ITK when it comes to United stuff.
I have to admit he's incredibly dull and boring to listen to. I forget the words at the begining of his sentence cause he talks so slow.

You're ok guy, haven't read any of your posts but given the amount I guess you're having a good time.

Stick to your guns. At least a reasonable chance you'll be proved correct (not that you would care much I suspect) and even if you're not no one will remember.

Average player.

Care to explain why stats wise he is up there with the best in the world and not only that he has more G+A in the bundesliga this season than De Bruyne did in his best bundesliga season and has also played 800 minutes less

For someone who is overhyped, statistically he is one of the best attackers in the world.

Thoughts?

I know De Bruyne plays a different position but thought it'd a good comparison to someone who is undoubtedly top drawer and has played in Germany and England.

Because he's an outstanding talent? Just not sure on *how* outstanding he is. Yet.

Anyway, apologies for (accidentally) taking this thread off-topic. I'll leave you in peace now!

Wouldn't the fact that his numbers reflect that of a finished article indicate that he is in fact outstanding?

Also I'd add there is risk to all transfers. If you wait for "Proof" he is outstanding you risk paying even more or him going elsewhere. We haven't had a world class winger since Ronaldo. We are also desperate to get back to the top of football. Can we afford to miss out? I'd argue not.

Oh, he is outstanding, my point being that he would have to keep this up and then some to be worth £120 million and to have a chance of being top 5 in the world. That is an incredibly high bar to reach.

I am still (just about) an England fan so I hope he does it.

Watched him in the Champions League, was not fazed.

Bundesliga stats alone do not justify that type of fee.
