One of Martial, Rashford or Greenwood will have to sacrifice their shirt number if the deal is confirmed within the next 48 hours.

Pretty sure we'll eventually find an agreement with Dortmund. They always sell in the end.

Glad the agent part is okay but am I missing something? We still are no closer to the stand off between the fee.

It's going to be announced on 12/9 and he'll take Smalling's number.

The #7 is free. Unless I'm misunderstanding this post

Small club, haven't even got a fan forum. The one they've got last had a post 3 months ago.

I love your confidence and enthusiasm. In fact I admire it!

So what are we making of this new Romano tweet? It’s nothing new. Can someone shed some light as to why it’s positive news?

This news is phenomenal for us as fans and I'll explain why. I've always been confident of the deal due to following every bit of news leaked from all corners of this whole saga! I've probably followed it beyond what is healthy for a human body!

Anyhow, regarding the messages coming out today, this basically tells me the deal is imminent now.

Personal Terms/Agent Fees - The whole narrative that the agent fees and wages was the problem has only come from the English press. Romano and other tier 1 journalists have always stated the personal terms have been agreed and they aren't an issue and Utd just need to make the bid. Well the truth is, it doesn't really matter who was right now because the fact that the English press are now saying there has been a breakthrough in personal terms is because this is what they have been briefed by United. The fact that Utd have briefed this to them is massive. Because previously Utd had the perfect excuse for the deal to collapse by saying agent fees were the issue. But the fact its been briefed to the media that that has been resolved now is a huge step. Utd would be foolish to lose their "perfect excuse".

Agent talks - You also have to remember it would be absolutely bonkers for Sancho's agent to spend this long in discussions if he believed there was no chance this deal could happen. There is no chance he would even be talking to Utd if it wasn't with Dortmunds blessing. Dortmund are clearly happy to sell as long as they get what they want.

In my eyes, this deal is days away from an agreement. There's a lot of bullshit we've had to read and follow, but when sifting through all the rumours, it points towards a deal being close. I've no doubt the terms and structure will be met eventually!

They will end up accepting something lower but close to the asking price and some unrealistic bonuses which take it ”over”.

Dortmund will play it as a win in the press and pretend they played us like a fiddle, the English press will lap it up and dick heads on here will spend the next few years saying “wHY diDnT we JUst PaY it iN jULy?”

Spot on. 100%.

At the very least Jadon should be more than impressed by us coming up with such a big thread in his honor. 90% is arguably bollocks but we dont just talk that much of it about just anyone.

See ya soon Jadon!

Is this an update? It seems like the English journos have just been briefed to now align with what Romano has been saying for months.

No one else has had a day for them, and that day being every day! He has to come for us muppets!

Ducker has always maintained that wages and agent fees were a stumbling block. He's known to be a bit of a mouth piece, so for him to change his stance on this means he's been given new information from the club. For several months the likes of Romano have said this isn't a problem, and he believed it to be a bit of an excuse for if the deal didn't go through. This would suggest there has been a genuine progression in our discussion.

You might be right here!

Exactly. Utd would not brief this if there wasn't a break through because it was their perfect excuse if the deal never went through that the agent wanted too much money.

It's probably the biggest update after nearly a month of silence.

feck Jan-Aage, he just latches on to all news and repeats the mantra given to him by Dortmund.

The big bid is coming Jan and when it does I hope we never have to endure another transfer saga with your boring tweets again.
Honestly he should be banned from RedCafe in any shape or form. I'm sick of looking at his name, Robbie.
