Jadon Sancho| Staying at Dortmund for now

Interestingly there isn't even an active Sancho thread on Dortmund's forum, not one that has been bumped in the last few days anyway. Guess they think that this transfer is dead.

If we manage to pull off this deal we need to infiltrate their forum afterwards good and proper

To be fair it will only come to life once Utd submit an official bid. It doesn’t make logical sense for Utd to go this long to not submit a bid.

It’s already been reported that Dortmund gave Utd permission to speak to Sancho a while ago. It makes sense why we haven’t put a bid in if the stalling is at the agents fees.

Not even fat boy Mino would ask for that kind of money.....can’t believe that anyone would ask for £50m - trouble is though, agents are aware that Ed got well fleeced by Mino in the Pogba deal.....he got a lot of stick for that so there is no way he’s gonna get done again....Ed’s a (bit) wiser these days
The agent will naturally start at a ridiculous high demand too. He’s negotiating for himself as well. I believe they will get to a middle ground eventually.

Brokers and agents are such a fecking pest.
Yes they are a true pain in the ass for us fans and clubs.

But players love them and use them because they are able to negotiate fantastic packages for the players.

Yeah we sorted them out with Pogba in the end and feel confident we will do the same with Jadon in the end

Now we have financial details of the VdB signing, in your opinion, how much can we afford upfront for Sancho, including wages?
I don’t think it’s a question of can we afford him. I think we believe it should be less than 105m. He wants to come, we’re the only buyer and Dortmund are heavily reliant on crowd revenue. This whole thing is brinksmanship in my eyes. We think Dortmund want to sell and will blink first hence why it’s going late in the window.

I have a lot to do with them for my work. They are not only a pain in the ass for United.

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if the top agents make more money than some of the top footballers over both careers. Agents can work probably twice as long as a footballers career. The number of deals they can do in one season and the large sums they get, they are smoking cigars just by talking on behalf of footballers.

He said the deal was in the advanced stages which as we know now couldn't be further from the truth. He got led down the garden path by someone it seems.

Yeah someone's head at the club is going to roll if that information got leaked out somehow

I’m sure as shit going over there and letting them know about it. But first port of call will be Dortmund’s twitter account.

I know it’s an absolutely dick move to do, but I promised myself I would do it. My inspiration was mica.

Read some posts ago it's some Nigerian guy demanding obscene amounts of agent fees. No idea if that's legit though.
Apparently he requires an amount upfront, after which he'll transfer back to United several times more than what we paid.

Yeah lets just keep our powder dry for now but does feel like confidence has grown again today

This whole Sancho business is a slap in the face of fake media. Sky Sports and all the usual suspects were reporting 3 or 4 weeks ago that a deal was done, personal terms agreed, and Sancho would earn 310k a week. Now these are not transfer muppets on Twitter. We are talking about reputable news organisations who gambled to put their reputation at stake and their necks on the line. This is enough proof for all of us to just wait until the club announces something. Skysports, Talksport radio and pretty much every newspaper in Britain are all guilty of spreading fake news. Its disappointing because when I hear anything on talksport or skysports now, I always say to myself, this might be untrue. You can't trust them. I will only believe it when United announce it.

Who was it that repoeted a month ago that wages and agent fees were a problem? Looks like they were spot on and Romano has got it wrong, along with Dumb & Dumber (the two Bundesliga reporters)

I say NEIN!

Good player but not at this moment. If there is money we should be looking at other players. We already got young squad. We don't need to buy young players. We don't need to have a kindergarden. There are lot of cheap quality out there. Quality that is not in range of £100m.

Getting Van der Beek is excellent peice of business. That is what we should be doing.

I remember you were at the very front of the vanguard during the Vidal saga. It didn't end well.

I thought we all agreed that we would never mention the Vidal thread again. That saga aged me by at least 5 years.

How did agents rise to so much power? Club wants player, player wants club, but sticking point is agents fee. What does the player think if a move breaks down

I'd imagine the player would step in and fire his agent (or at least threaten to) if that was a possibility. If you genuinely want a move, you don't let the greed of an agent make things go sideways.

If the agent fee is indeed the only obstacle here, why on earth is Sancho allowing his agent to ruin his dream move? It doesn’t add up. I would fire that leech immediately if I was in Sancho’s boots.

Still reckon we will get deal done in the end despite the reported wage demands and agents fee issues
Yeah I’m not saying we won’t get him, just saying that I’ve been calling Romano a bullshitter all summer and glad the club are calling him out (if that’s the case)
