I'm still angry at last night I'll give it a watch though!Well the football season is over so you have time. It’s a hilarious show
This. Been saying it. We need more depth, a new centre midfielder, better fullbacks and we need a right winger.
Sancho was always unrealistic because of this. So we buy him for 120m, and then what? We go into next season with Lingard, Pereira, Mata on our bench while praying our first eleven don't get injured?

We are desperate for him and Grealish but I can understand the financial issues currently but we need at least one.
One will cost 108m the other in excess of 70mWe are desperate for him and Grealish but I can understand the financial issues currently but we need at least one.
It's a start, you have to know we won't just a good squad in a year. It will take time but we must get signings right. Buying AWB and Maguire for the quoted price is not the right way though. One will not solve our problems.
Well, like I said we don't have the finances during this period. One will cost 108m the other in excess of 70m
It’s obvious we can’t get both

Now Dortmund will be even more determined to get the money they asked for.
Our bargaining power is completely diminished after yesterday's defeat.
Barca paid 107 M and 135 M for Griezmann and Dembele - do we want to compete for trophies?!
Then we have to pay.
Both have been utter fecking disasters
We paid 80m for a CB and still have no leader at the back. The amount you spend doesnt dictate quality. Although I do think we should sign SanchoThen go and buy mediocre players for shite prices.
We'll win lots with them.

We have too many positions where we should buy. Sancho would be amazing and a startwe do need more than just Sancho. I think this is the problem we are trying to pay in Installments so we can do other Business while Dortmund want the all the fee so they can invest . Sancho alone is not enough but would improve us .

This isnt the thread for that. Feel free to quote me in the right thread.Maguire isn't a leader?
He is not, don't be fooled by the size of his head.Maguire isn't a leader?

The guy showed no leadership qualities yesterday, doesn't communicate, doesn't take responsibilities and has poor reading of the game.
He is no leader at all. I'd rather Bruno
We don't have any "bargaining power" anyway. Dortmund want a figure. We will pay it, but won't pay the extra fees which are silly to the agent dealing with the transfer. Now Dortmund will be even more determined to get the money they asked for.

Well I didn't, will believe you if you said so.I saw him communicating a fair bit last night, and barring the 2nd goal I thought he was fine.
The Barca situation is a unique one as both players occupy the same space as Messi. They never should have been signed in the first place as clearly there was never a plan how to integrate them. Barca panicked when Neymar left and signed the biggest names they could. Both have been utter fecking disasters
Yeah! And compare that to the relatively small amounts Liverpool have paid on players like Robertson, Mane, Salah and Fabinho. There are very good players out there available to seriously strengthen us that won’t cost a bomb. A Sancho type signing should be a cherry on top type signing once we are fully equipped in all the other positions in my opinionI have no idea what you're on about, essentially the alternatives you've listed are: Insane disasters for record fees vs mediocre players for shite prices, makes sense.
Listing Dembele and Griezmann as positive examples of "spending whats required to get what's needed" is mental. Overall Barcelonas transfers in the past 4-5 years has been a fecking disaster, and that's putting it mildly, absolute shambles to the point where they are doing transfers to balance their books.

Have no idea why we bring Barca into this even as a comparison of spending. It's not exactly a unique situation, they've spent around €520mill on Dembele, Griezmann, Coutinho, De Jong and Malcolm.
People complain about our transfers being dodgy......Barcelona have barely signed anyone decent since the summer of 2014, and they've spent a lot of money in that period (around €1200mill]

We are on a journey to Arsenal standard mediocrity if we don’t bring in players who can be pivotal in moving forward. We have one in Bruno but we need another plus 2 more talented players in key positions
You know that for a fact do you?We don't have any "bargaining power" anyway. Dortmund want a figure. We will pay it, but won't pay the extra fees which are silly to the agent dealing with the transfer.
Stop assumingAssuming we sign Sancho and nobody else, what's our best line-up?
I wouldn't want to stop playing Rashford (even though he hasn't been great last few weeks) or Greenwood.
Any scope for jumping a few decades into the past and bringing out the 4-4-2? Greenwood/Martial up front and Rashford/Sancho either side?
Sounds good on paper I don't think there's enough leadership or experience there though.
All of those players (Sancho included) have a tendency to sometimes let games slip them by.
I mean, they aren't even close in terms of quality. We are desperate for him and Grealish but I can understand the financial issues currently but we need at least one.
Rotate Greenwood in for Rashford Martial Sancho when neededAssuming we sign Sancho and nobody else, what's our best line-up?

Any scope for jumping a few decades into the past and bringing out a weird 4-4-2? Greenwood/Martial up front and Rashford/Sancho either side?
Sounds like it might work on paper, I don't think there's enough leadership or experience there though. Also are any top teams playing 4-4-2 these days?
All of those players (Sancho included) have a tendency to sometimes let games slip them by.
sancho wouldn't probably. Transfer requests are a strictly english football thingYou lose bonuses and other fees when you put in a transfer request.

People saying we need more than Sancho to challenge for the title need to have a reality check. There has never been a more obvious statement!
If we want to challenge for the title this season, we are realistically going to need around 4 world class players at least that will walk straight into our first eleven. You are looking at around £300m+ for that to happen. Please stop flying around in cuckoo land. We are absolutely not challenging for the title this season and that is not the aim either.
Getting Sancho brings us one huge step closer to challenging for the title in the coming couple of years! By getting Sancho we are setting the foundation for the next window where we can get even closer.
Stop thinking our aim is to challenge for the title this season. Ain’t happening!
Yeah and they both flopped. Barca is a complete and utter mess right now. They only thing keeping them relevant is Messi. Now Dortmund will be even more determined to get the money they asked for.
