Trying to remember which cupboard we put the fax machine in.
Think of it this way, Martial (24), Rashford (22), Greenwood (18), Sancho (20).
Players don't decline until they hit around 30-31 generally, with 28-29 the peak.
Martial can be released in 7 or so years, but until then the players will only grow together and become a force.
The front 3 will be lethal, AWB is 22, Maguire has 5-6 years in him, Bruno is 25, Pogba 27 (both as midfielders can go perhaps 6 years).
The team can be freshened up when needed but the team itself will only get better now.
Scary stuff how the team looked to have no plan and direction now its like the clouds have parted and you can slowly see how good the squad is.
In my eyes the team is nearly good for 7-8 years with fresh faces bringing in now again, what the team has is a very good spine.
I was thinking that when watching a highlights video where every goal and assist was from the left for about 5mins

Sancho is a wonderkid putting in bigger numbers than the other two as a 20 year old.
Kagawa was screwed by us signing Van Persie, which changed the plan.
Mhky was a central player we tried to change his position, and he spent half a season trying to get his head right.
No reason Sancho should underperform just because two players we bought before didn't. Totally different situations.
Credit to Woodward and the board for getting this done very promptly. I thought this would drag and drag throughout the whole transfer window

Last summer I hoped we'd get him then we didn't get CL so gave up hope. That win vs Leicester was what sealed this deal for me, but I still prefer seeing the 'here we go' from Romano now, usually a few hours later maximum it'll be on the United website.

Unfortunately the fax machine budget was eliminated due to Covid so we've been unable to upgrade the fax machine for years.
Mkhitaryan was a 1 season wonder at Dortmund. We just got suckered into thinking that 1 season was his true level as opposed to the previous 2 seasons at Dortmund.

The only ones persisting he is going to United are the United fans literally Sancho himself rejected you last year, a player of his talent will no doubt go to a team who can win titles no matter how much money you guys are offering, since that's the only thing you can offer him. It really is jarring thought the contrast from the likely squad we would've had under Jose right now to building one of the most exciting and promising young front lines in Europe under Ole. Still gives me nightmares to think he would've easily sacrificed Martial for the likes of Sanchez, Perisic and Willian

I think you're underestimating the status he's coming to the club with, nevermind what he'll do here to earn more on top at a later date, but we'll hopefully find out one way or another. Perhaps I'm overshooting; to me, superstars in this day and age are hitting high £280k's and north of that. Sancho coming here at the low end of the £200k's would be underselling himself, or perhaps suggest we're the only club he wants to join, which would surprise me (offsetting far more money to choose us), but we'll see.
Hmm... Pogba's real leverage is himself being a potential all-time great and giving us what should be his best years.

I remember he play across all three positions after Auba at CF there with Dortmund. He's that flexible,skillful and versatile, no problem at any positions. He can even play B2B #8.

Just compare Mkhitaryan's 1st 2 seasons at Dortmund with his last season at Dortmund. That's the answer to why Mkhi wasn't good.
