It seems like Watzke is hinting at Sancho to put in a transfer request.
they’re begging for a bid.
Solskjaer and Woodward have given mixed messages tbf and Watzke is saying exactly what a selling club would say to maximize their investment. After reading recent comments from Woodward, Solskjaer and now Watzke I think it’s wise to prepare ourself for a summer without Sancho on the 2020 shopping list.
Bruce with Saudi backing could help us alittle with the clear out.Steve 'I'll sign any Utd alumni' Bruce might have a word about that
His track record for buying/loaning our players is off the fecking charts.

Of course Smalling is better than them, but he doesn't want to come back just as a squad option if he's got other good clubs like Roma who want him as a starter. Why? Unlike the others we might actually get a transfer fee for him that’s more than 10m but he’s still a far better option than Jones, Rojo and Bailly in my view. Think the others on that list are far more deserving of the chop.

So dramatic, transfer window isn't even open yet and it's a massive deal that will take a while to be structured. I know Bundesliga defenses aren't the best but the kid is 20 and producing unprecedented numbers for his age on the left and right.I"m done with this Sancho bullshit. Dortmund don't have any money and are looking to do a deal of a similar magnitude as Dembele so that they can invest. I think we should spend 70m on Havertz whose also referred to as a generational talent. I've always thought that a left footed RW would suit us better. Should have gotten Mahrez when we had the chance. Either way, I know Sane is looking to move back to Germany but I would like us to try with a 50m bid for Sane. The guy could be a great fit for us....

Bizarre take. It’s so clearly on.
I am looking on that like this. They value him around 100mil. So if they need money they will sell someone else and wait for 100mil. But nobody will spend 100mil in this situation especially now when it is pretty certain that covid will be back in winter. That's awfully chatty for a club that apparently doesn't want to sell and apparently does not need to sell either

Havertz doesn't play RW by the way, apparently half the people on the Caf think he can just because he's left-footed. He doesn't fit into our current team at all unless we were to sell Pogba and play him or Bruno deeper. Lovely player though.
Agree we should have gone for Mahrez when we had the chance, unbelievable how badly our RW has been neglected. City will never sell us Sane.
Blah Blah Blah..... transfer window not open. How many deals have Chelsea gotten done or negotiated prior to the transfer window opening?
I guess I wasn't clear. I didn't want us to go for Havertz for the RW but instead the AM, SS role. If we aren't getting Sancho, I would atleast make sure to capture the other generational talent. We are light weight on the striker side as is.....
As for the RW, if we can't get Sane, there's also Leon Bailey to consider.
I never said he did? I objected to someone saying that Smalling (who’s not even at the club at the moment), out of a list of himself, Sanchez, Jones, Lingard and Pereira is the one who is stinking out the place. He’s comfortably the least dead of that deadwood group.Of course Smalling is better than them, but he doesn't want to come back just as a squad option if he's got other good clubs like Roma who want him as a starter.

The conditions couldn't be more favourable? The global economy is taking a massive hit and everyone's uncertain about their financials. There's a reason Watzke said he doesn't think anyone can afford him this year.Kinda get the feeling this is another Griezmann situation where if it doesn't happen this summer when the conditions couldn't be more favorable for us,it'll never happen.
Next summer Dortmund will have almost no choice but to sell if he still wants out or else risk losing him for free and I'm fairly certain we won't be the only club willing and capable to get him in like we are now due to the uncertainty brought on by the pandemic.
We have a rare free run this window if we really want him at all costs which I believe we should given its been over a decade since we had any real attacking threat from the right and how much it would compliment the young talent we presently have...
Like last summer right...Cant believe people are still unsure of this thing. Its on on on.

Liverpool cant afford him.I wouldn't be at all surprised if he stayed another year, but i think he will eventually leave this window and most likely to you lot. Dortmund i think are in a situation where if he stays, great, but if he brings us £100m, even better. Especially as he seems to be a a bit of a nuisance to them lately outside of football
If I had to put £100 down now on where Sancho goes if he leaves.. it'd be £65 Utd £35 Liverpool. If Klopp gets any indication the deal can be done, he will be in the mix with Utd.
fair point, what would they receive for prize money and the such given the pandemic?Liverpool cant afford him.
Thats why yous got werner

I don't like how we dally (though we have no idea what's happening behind the scenes) with most transfers either, but come the feck on its a 100 mil deal when we're not at our greatest financial strength. I don't like the Glazers or Ed either by the way, but saying 'sick of the Sancho nonsense, let's go sign someone else' is just petulant impatience. Our story last few years.

Ah, the classic 'look at other teams'. Werner had a release clause so there was nothing to negotiate. Ziyech was signed back in January. Literally no other big club has done anything.Blah Blah Blah..... transfer window not open. How many deals have Chelsea gotten done or negotiated prior to the transfer window opening?

apart from Sanchez every other player there is on reasonable wagesI find it funny how they say Solskjaer’s been “ordered” by the board to sell first before he can buy as if he wants to keep hold of everyone and add signings on top of that. Or course he wants rid of all the deadwood it’s finding a buyer for these players some of which are on fecking insane wages i.e Sanchez!

Leon Bailey don't kill me Still living off one good season three years ago, not ready for United at all. He's talented, but comparing his and Sancho's output in the same league when Bailey is two years older is pretty much all you need to know about that.
