Dortmund tweeted he had Covid-19 symptoms. And test just came back negative today. Probably why he did not travel

One of the weirdest "sagas" ever. Seems like Dortmund clocked out and went home eons ago, meanwhile United was left shadow boxing by itself.

When 'he' comes back it'll be Pereira. It's just a smokescreen for the transfer (100m+Pereira)

Just switched on Sky sports news and saw the headline rolling along the bottom of the screen, rocked up on here and just as I suspected....dead jelly fish everywhere

Simon Stone is actually xisimon, I read it somewhere... so I'm not sure if I trust him anymore.

Sky only own a 20% stake of Skybet (edit: apparently they own 0% now), and the turnover on a market like this would probably only be 5 figures. I seriously doubt Sky Sports are going to manipulate their own news coverage to try and earn their company a few thousands pounds gambling profit. This ridiculous theory comes up every time Sky report on transfers.
Sky Bet and Sky Sports are separate entities and nothing they report is to manipulate the betting market. It's been proven time and time again.
Sky doesn't own sky bet any more, this has been mentioned every year for god knows how long.
I didn't know they were separate entities. It still doesn't explain why Sky is ignoring a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Although you lads/lasses have succeeded in raising my hopes...

Odds are now adjusting anyway... Closer to evens than before.

Why do I get sucked in? I'm asking for disappointment :(

How convenient that he has COVID symptoms around the exact same time were expected to make an official bid. Crazy how this virus works isn't it?

Either its exactly that, hes sick and its precautionary, or Dortmund are expecting us to meet their demands in some way or other. Sickness would be a reasonable reason should we bid but it falls through

Jadon Sancho is willing to wait until next summer to secure his move to Old Trafford if Manchester United cannot strike an agreement with Borussia Dortmund before the transfer window closes on Monday.

Sancho, the 20-year-old winger who joined Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017, expects United to make another bid for him in the next three days.

According to those with knowledge of the negotiations between the two clubs, there is a 50-50 chance that a deal will happen. Dortmund deny this is the case and insist that United will not be able to sign Sancho in this window, as they failed to submit a €120 million (£109 million) bid for the player by their deadline of August 10. The Bundesliga club have told

I am not very tech savvy in such terms but what does it mean that they are retweeting it? They are endorsing it and getting the same information too?
When they 're-Tweet' something it means they are simply sharing information that someone else has put out there. They would do that if they wanted to raise awareness to something or endorse something. Seeing as Dortmund are a major institution with more followers than either of them, it doesn't make sense for them to repeat official club news unless they were suggesting there's more to it.

At the very least if we can’t get this done we should agree a deal to have him join in July 2021. If he’s that much of a priority target. Like Liverpool did with Keita.
