Jadon Sancho - Chelsea (loan) watch

I think Antony is probably the only real argument here, even if it’s only two games.
Because fan polls made him man of the match? I'm not going to watch Betis, but it's apparently the same Antony, same type of performances (tiny sample though), just in a different environment where every one of his touches isn't under the microscope.

Yes there’s an obligation, what’s even better is Chelsea are on course to finish in the top 4 so they’ll need to pay the full price that was negotiated, which I believe is £25m.
This is on top of a loan fee I assume plus his wages?

Samcho is ridiculous. You'd swear we he had him chained up in a room with Woodward talking about out what we can do in the transfer market on repeat.

How Ironic... Sancho replies with Freedom but its Sancho's name he wants to be free from

This is why I was asking people (there was a user in this thread that had a pop at Rashford regarding this) what Rashford had done in this instance.

Sancho comments “Freedom” on Rashford’s picture and some people got mad at Rashford when he had nothing to do with it

One has to wonder to what extent pr companies of which I'm sure Sancho is a user control their clients social media presence, one would reckon they'd apprise him of the faults of such a post.

He hasn't done his career any favors.

What a waste of money, time and space this guy has been. feck me.

Sancho brought a behind-closed-doors conversation out into the public domain. Clearly he was echoing a sentiment he knew Rashford felt, else he wouldnt have tweeted him.

But nobody is reacting to that one tweet in isolation.

Both Rashford and Sancho have a mountain of issues for fans to be (rightly) pissed off with. This is just the latest round.

I think this is a bit of a stretch. Not saying it isn’t true, but I could absolutely see Sancho speaking from his own motivations/feelings and applying that to Rashford without any prompting or behind the scenes conversations

This is not true. We have no indication this was even a private conversation - that’s just a leap in reasoning that you’ve made - even if you find it plausible. Rashford posted a picture of him training and thanking the Villa players/staff for the warm welcome - and Sancho replied to the picture with “Freedom”. Rashford did nothing wrong here - in fact, the reports from his camp distancing is indication he wanted no parts of this.

I mean, here:

Would not expect anything less from these two muppets.

Just sums up their mentality. Paid 300k a week, and think that leaving the club means they are "free".

Free from criticism. Free to be lazy. Free to be late and give minimal effort while being out of the spotlight I suppose. Glad we got rid.

Genuinely, what has Rashford done here - like, in this specific instance?

Rashford didn't even respond, and rightly so. Best not get dragged into it. It doesn't all have to end in tears.

Sancho seems the exact type of person to think his view of the world is universal.

I wouldn't be blaming Rashford for anything here.

I didnt say he did anything wrong here. But Sancho and Rashford have undeniably backed each other up vs the club. Sancho only reminded everyone of that which is why fan indignation at the pair of clowns is justified.

You randomly and baselessly created a scenario in which Sancho brought a supposed private conversation to the public domain. Now you’re saying they’ve undeniably backed each other up vs the club. You’re just saying anything.

If you're familiar with hobbers, you'll have seen a similar pattern last season and this past summer with EtH. Deliberately winding himself up over imagined scenarios.

Yes, big difference between the two. Sancho fell out with the then manager, was able to make it up and ruined any chance of a career here (albeit he was poor anyway). Rashford on the other hand hasn't really said much, yes he has had a few misdemeanours (Dublin trip as an example) but he is a lifelong United fan and it must hurt him having to leave because he isn't good enough. They need to be judged separately.

Nothing random or baseless about it, and dont be so pedantic about something irrelevant.

Both players are immature and feckless and have rinsed the club for all its worth. And sided with each other in dressing room/club rifts. Only difference between the two is that Rashford has a PR team. Fans using a comment from Sancho as representative of the attitudes of the pair of them isn't some sort of scandal.

I mean, in fairness, you did 1) entirely make up a private conversation between Rashford and Sancho and 2) decide that they have "undeniably" backed each other vs the club. It's pretty baseless yeah.

I was trying to remember when Rashford backed up Sancho. When did that happen, because I honestly can’t remember?

It's obvious and shouldn't need explained that I didnt mean a literal conversation that Sancho decided to carry on with a pubic post. The post is just a glimpse into the themes of what they think and talk about with each other.

The fact that he's bitter toward the club shows what an entitled prick he is. Let's not forget that despite us being short on options, Ten Hag allowed him to miss most of the season to deal with whatever issues he claimed to have, while we still paid him his wages in full. His pay back for his managers compassion was to post derisive things on social media after a loss against a rival undermining his under fire manager. When given a chance to get his way back in the team, he pouted like a child and refused to apologize opting to take the easy way out and train with kids while STILL earning his undeserved wages. When Chelsea want nothing to do with him after next season, Dortmund won't even want him back.

Some mindbending stuff on page 63.

It’s like David Lynch has come back and written a forum page for shits & giggles.

Some folks would be better off not paying either of the players mentioned any attention.

It’s all a bit unnecessary

By downing tools to get Ten Hag sacked after Sancho was dropped/loaned. Their friends, everyone knows it. We all know Rashford agrees with that tweet, he just has smarter PR than Sancho. One thing you can always be sure of with Rashford, he will do everything correct in the public eye, he has a team of professionals to ensure he does.

So nothing ‘undeniable’ whatsoever, but just conjecture again?

Yea, two MoTM awards and one goal in two matches for Real Betis is a marked upturn compared to his last year for United in my book.

Rashford could have replied 'nah bro, im going to get back to my best and let's see how it goes, right now I'm just focusing at villa'

But hw won't do that. It's all about clicks.

Ah, fair enough. I won’t engage further.

I hope you're joking - this thread reads like open air Arkham Asylum right now

Sancho is most probably ex-United player from summer so don't care that much about him anymore. What's still bit frustrating is him missing penalty vs City in CS. CS is not really a trophy (but is some kind of silverware and more than a friendly) so shame we didn't win it as last time was 2016. Would've been better way to go into season.
