Fantastic player, reminds me of Robben at times. Obviously not as good but would be a fantastic addition to our squad.

Quality.

But never judge a player on a tournie.

Yeah really turned a corner after I thought initially struggling at Inter but was in great form for them in the second part of the season. Strong player who's a real threat, suburb game for him tonight one which he will never forget. Although I never noticed him much at Dortmund or Wolfsburg but well er I don't watch too much German football...

Not just off this tournament, the last world cup he was fantastic and his club form has been brilliant as well.

His club career has been a bit up and down, really.

His club form brilliant? Dude, that's not even close to being true.

So he's not had a fantastic season in Italy?
'Brilliant', 'fantastic', mate are you serious? Messi 14/15 was fantastic. Suarez 13/14 was fantastic. 7 goals and 6 assists in the Serie A is decent at the minimum.

For a winger, I think that's acceptable.

Don't mock me with silly emoji's, I think he's a decent player. Now do me a favour and jog on and don't reply to my posts.

Indeed, it's decent/acceptable etc. Not fantastic...

Perisic is a good player, he was a quality player for Wolfsburg. Haven't followed his performances for Inter but apparently he started slowly but really ended the season in brilliant fashion. I don't think he's a player United should aim to get though, as a squad player he'd be good enough but his level isn't good enough to play for United/Bayern/City et all.

Steps it up for his country always. Played like a proper winger today, was class. Never expect players to translate country form to club though, impossible to get the same passion.

He isn't THAT quick at all. Spain playing the game at walking pace made his occasional bursts look really rapid. But he's not quick off the mark to get a shot away. He looks more like a roaming target man

I was underwhelmed any time I saw him at Inter last season, but the I was underwhelmed by the whole Inter team. They played like us.

Scored a worldie in the last minute for Dortmund against Arsenal some years back now in the Champions League. Never thought that highly of him bar that goal. Stepping it up for Croatia now, but I think he's at his level at Inter.

He's been one of the best players of the tournament no doubt. Alan Dzagoev was a player who really impressed at Euro 2012 but no one signed him after the competition, so you probably can't base a player off a good tournament.

A 7/10 player. Every match. Which makes him more valuable than people with more talent. He's in the Muller mould. Consistency is key in top level football.

@Devil81

If you aren't prepared to argue your point don't waste everyone's time by starting player threads saying they'd be a good addition to the squad. The use of emojis is perfectly acceptable, telling posters who have bested your argument to jog on and not reply to your posts is not.

I've never been impressed with him before this tournament, he always seemed a bit streaky to me. He's been sensational at the Euros so far though.

By any chance you meant he looks alike to young Robben? I thought that myself seeing his face.

Style wise nah, can't see the similarity except he is now invert wing forward similar to Robben.

He's a decent player but from what I know of him, he's always been pretty inconsistent throughout his career. He's been very good so far during this tournament, though and I believe he was good for Croatia during qualifying. Don't get the Robben comparisons whatsoever, mind.

He is a decent player and not consistent at club level. At least at Inter he wasn't. Not sure about Robben comparison, he is nothing like him.

Not consistent enough to be a top player. He would be a good squad option for us, on his day excellent. Has a great tournament so far

After defending him all summer, his good start is bittersweet. Should be playing for us, top player. The goal at 1:03 is amazing.
90% of people didn't wanted him due to fact that he wasn't a young prospect or a big name and the majority hadn't even seen him playing apart from the major tournaments.

He has been excellent for Croatia though. That's what made me sure of his quality.

Though having posted that Martial and Rashford combined so far have also given us good output on that wing so far.

The right wing issue seems more of a problem for me. Though Maybe Perisic could have played there.

Was absolutely correct decision by Inter to hold out for £50m for him. He is going to be so important for them this season.

And they are right. Martial and Rashford both have 3 goals and 1 assist each in 6-7 games since the beginning of the season and play LW. Both 21 and below.

I'd rather develop those than pay 50m for Perisic who is 28.

He is at his best at 28 yo, but with Rashord and Martial, he would have been a surplus

There are other roles to fill...
