Italian Serie A 2022/23

Btw: 16 for Gerd Müller in Germany.
Messi…

That's insane. Can't see anyone touching it anytime soon... I see that Lewandowski did 11 twice, which is as good as England's record (and Serie A's if restricted to 1 season).

Serie A record can be considered to be 13, Ronlado's 11 only equaled Batistuta's record if we count one single season. Batistuta scored in the first 2 of the following season, which put him at 13... But Ronaldo still has his record (In the CL..)

Messi with 21 straight is just stupid
Messi's numbers (and influence on games as well) in that period was absurd. There is no point discussing or comparing it to anything else...

Milan gets a vital win in the Top 4 battle.

Inter starting Handanovic, Lukaku and Barella, both are getting internally investigated by the club after their incident last week...

Inter win 3-1. 15 points remains the gap. Sampdoria will go down it looks like.

All players have red marks on their face to raise awareness of domestic violence. Anyone else think this is a bit weird? It’s like their “we are all monkeys” racism campaign, like the message is great but the way they go about it…

Roma are so rubbish to watch.
I keep watching them out of curiosity of Abraham, Dybala, Pellegrini, Belloti (when he gets a chance), Mourinho etc.
But they really don't know how to dictate a game

Exactly my thoughts... Well tonight I watched Marseille more but Roma are usually dreadful. The Solbakken goal was beautiful though, very nice build up, and you'd think it shows they have the quality to play better football. But they don't...

I don’t think they’ll get top 4 despite being third at the moment. They’re uninspiring and they’ll struggle when they go behind

Allegri’s Juve is worse
we all pray for Allegri to be gone in summer.
He is making every juventus fan hating watching juventus or simply stop watching at all.

Inter lose. 18 points behind Napoli who will probably be champions in record time

Milan appear to be truly back. Dominant performance and win tonight against atalanta

Happy for them as a neutral person. Always good if a team apart from Bayern winning the league. Wait..I meant the obv teams like Juve and Inter of course ;)

I'm surprised how good Roma are looking. I thought they were that 5-6th spot team.

Juventus would have been second if they did not cheat

But if you ignore the points deduction, you're effectively 2nd if you win your game in hand. Don't you think thats good enough?

Roma can't finish for shit, otherwise they would be comfortably second. They've actually been generally great. The magic of Mou's second season still going strong in Italy

Eh, kinda but also it's obvious this team could be so much better with a manager that doesn't want to grind out 1-0 wins. At full strenght their attack should be Chiesa-Vlahovic-Di Maria. That is a scary, scary attack. But Allegri has no interest trying to maximize it

Something serious went down between Mou and the 4th official. Mou just made some serious accusations

I was watching the Roma match on the bike trainer. Red card seemed harsh at the time, I thought mourinho must have laid hands on him at first. What are the accusations?

Hasn't said but mentioned planning legal action

Napoli were poor, a lot of misplaced long passes. Lazio defended well though.

They weren't poor. Average is the best I can give to you. Extremely unlucky to lose that. Happens.

Milan have been dreadful here but what a wonderful performance from Fiorentina. Dodo looked absolutely class from right back.

Milan had their heads on Spurs. Kudos to Fiore though, great game from them

I don't get the Kean red card. Looks to me like Mancini provoked him then dived as if he was murdered. I know it's clever (dirty) play by Mancini but come on. How was it not reviewed ?

Moise Kean literally kicked him:

Ohhh you're right. I missed that kick completely. Probably because Mancini actually forgot about it too and remembered it very late.

But yeah I can see the reason for it. Thanks.

Still think Mancini should have at least got a yellow for all the shirt grapping at the start.
