Italian Serie A - 2019-20

Maybe it's not, but the truth is that Conte didn't make enough rotation on the team to justify that.
inter don't have a lot of depth

but the point is more about the derby taking a lot out of them, plus lazio coming up= far less focus and energy on the cup game

If Eriksen manages to become the creative midfielder that Inter really needs to step up it's game, I think they have a very good chance of wining the Scudetto this season. Otherwise they will fall short because I can see them loosing more points than Juve on the long run.

BT Sport now game between Milan and Juve in Copa semi's. Great to see Ronaldo and Zlatan on the same pitch.

Zlatan has raised Milans game. Probably improving the quality in training and mental focus as a result of having him around apart from still doing a job upfront.

Sarri has got to be the most overrated coach in the world...this man is just not good enough for this level of team.

Napoli was his ceiling and he did a massive choke job that season anyways after beating Juve away.

He did an ok job with Chelsea. Although not looking good for Juventus overall, but they still win most games.
Having Hazard made it easier at Chelsea too.

How is that a penalty, what is Milan defender supposed to do?

Ridiculous.

because that's the stupid rule.
Shot would have hit the target and arms weren't close to the body.

But it's a completely natural position after jumping high and nothing Calabria could do against this.

Ball was going to be on target

Not sure this is a factor unless someone tries to block the shoot.
The position was natural and he didn't try to block it with the arm.
Also no time to remove the arm either.

If you get a pen for shooting towards the arm then everyone will try to target the arm.

Is there any difference with the rule if a player isn't even looking at the ball when it hits his arm e.g. he's not looking straight at it.

Is there a bigger certainty in football than Juventus winning a penalty?

Bayern, Juventus and Liverpool owns the refs in their contries. Feels so corrupt.
At least in Spain both giants are equally corrupt so never know who will get the favors.

There was a clear penalty for Juve not called 10 minutes before that one got called.

Ref was unbelievably bad all game

HA be glad you don’t watch the Portuguese league then. They make the teams you mentioned above look like saints. Be happy with how it is in England because in Portugal it’s a fecking tragedy.

Yet again Juve get outplayed but come away with a favorable result.
Yet people will say “they are fine look at the results” they are fecking horrid and are being carried by a 35 year old Ronaldo who simply can not stop scoring.

Sarri needs to try something different. Either play 3 at the back or a 4-4-2.

He needs to do something, they aren't going to win anything playing like this. If he doesn't change anything they might as well get Allegri back while they're still in all competitions.

Yeah corruptions is in most countries. Think England at least look decent in football compared to many other countries.
At least the tv deal and things like that is more fair and smaller clubs aren't abused/raided as much.

Thing with referees it is hard to know if they are just shit for a day or biased. Oliver seem to hate us though.
Makes crazy calls against us every time he is involved. No understanding how he gets away with it.
Someone like Moss though just seems like a poor ref. No idea how he got the job in the first place.
Must know the right people or something.

Now with VAR I can't give them the fair excuse that they didn't see it from a good angle.
Before I had much more respect for them getting most things right and having great positioning to see
I think they need special VAR refs who are good at judging things from tv.
Because the current lot has not got the job based on being good at using VAR.
They got it for doing well without it. At least that is my understanding that it is normal referees they use.

How they can feck up this much with VAR?
1) first yellow for Hernandez was after clear Dybala foul
2) Rebic made clear penalty with that elbow in Cuadrado's face( i think it was him)
3) No way in million years that this hand is penalty. All rules about hand say; no penalty.

Awful refs

It just show bloody blind some people can be at the top and thus have no clue how to judge or be bised like feck. They can't see a foul or crap miles away.
Thus we have people think Ole is still the man included Ed Woodward who waits for more evidence ;).
Although to judge a manager is much harder than to follow the rules as a ref.

Sofyan Amrabat is just brilliant. I've been championing L.Alberto and Brozovic for a few years now in Italy but he's easily my favourite midfielder in the league at the moment. He's the reason I've watched pretty much every Verona game this season and he's been so consistent.

Fiorentina have got themselves a gem. I wish we would've gone for him.

No clue how no big club went for him throughout his career. He's been fantastic for ages

Yeah, no offence to Fiorentina but I thought a bigger and better team would've been in for him. Especially as he was sooo cheap, too. With him, Castrovilli and Ribery, I will definitely be catching them more often next season!

I wouldn't be surprised to see a big team come straight in for him after next season, with Fiorentina making a big profit off of him should they sell. He definitely would've been worth the risk buying him straight off Brugge for most, imo.

Yeah he's only 23 but I've heard about him since he was in Holland and watched a few games as he was heavily linked with us at one point.

Morocco are definitely underrated as a footballing country, they seem to have plenty of good players making it in Europe these days. Shame they didn't get to host the World Cup.
