No idea what’s actually going to happen here, but I’ve never heard an appointed, acting American official speak like this. May amount to nothing but perhaps a taboo is being slowly degraded.

I see they've now announced they'll stay in the occupied Syrian territory 'indefinitely'. Who could have guessed huh, not the few apologists on here that's for sure.

Looks it’s for security only, it’s not that hard to understand. They need to occupy with military first and then when that’s sorted and their border is established they can begin to build beautiful homes on it and start moving Israeli citizens in and then they know their people are safe. Well, they will be when they establish their military just outside that border as the threat to those new homes will be great.

It's pretty hard wired into their laws but the parties don't give a damn.

I did laugh when I saw an American writer in the Atlantic earlier today say that America was "almost alone in encouraging dissent".
 


This is an Indian student's video, she tweeted. Won't be surprised if she/they are now harassed in India too.

I said it before but I think the closest political comparison to the ADL would be the Ku Klux Klan.

The menacing harassment, far right posturing, unhinged melodramatic gesturing and dwindling credibility propped up by racist special interests, all match.
 
They are back to their favourite sport which is the mass killing of Palestinian children.
 
More than 40 killed and 150 wounded, most of them children and women in the initial toll of the Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.

 
I remember thinking that we've killed 300+ people for nothing (other than to keep the "war" on) before in the past year or so. It's much harder to remember which time that might have been.
