Because Veron's best is supposed to be better than the rest of our best by a country mile, and because the club forked out squillions for him. Whether you like it or not, its the supporters who make the club rich, so they believe they have the right to venture an opinion every so often. Negative as well as positive.

Most people now recognise that Veron is performig to the best of his ability and give him credit for that.

Diego also had a lot of criticism - so did the Nevilles, so Seba wasn't exactly singled out - but fairly or not, it goes with the territory of a £28m transfer fee.

i've heard of j.s.veron, but who the feck's stan.
must be living in the past.
seba was shite, but is now about our best player.
against deportivo, west ham and chelsea in the last 7 days at ot, he's run the show. i've never ben a veron - fan before, but anybody with eyes can see his quality now. he still can't tackle, but at least he has a go (a bit like becks in fact !).

come on stan, I've been critical of him to (and rightly so - he's played some stinkers) but you would have to admit he has looked better in the last few games - whether he can keep it up only time will tell but at least admit he's done ok lately... just to get these crystal ball merchants off yer back!

That's right, i'll completely change my mind on the back of 3 World beating displays, the like of which i have never seen before.

Not Convinced!
