The cache server was acting up when the site came back online so you were being served a cached, non-logged in page which doesn't have a quote/edit button.

Ok, that makes sense, but why would someone not logged on be served with a quote button? Again, serious question, I'm interested.

Good point Weaste. That appears to be the vBulletin default. If an non-logged in user clicks that button they will be shown a login page and can then continue with posting a message with a quote. Not sure why they chose to hide the 'Edit' button though.

About 6 hrs ago, for about 15 minutes straight ~ I got an error message that read:

"SHE CANEEE TAKE NO MORE CAP'TN!!!"

Star Trek quote, for those that don't know... the quote finishes with 'SHE'S GUNNA BLOW', but that wasn't included. Although, I'm sure it was meant to be implied.
