Agreed.
I think he's looking at the future and trying to build a core - Lukaku, Pogba, Matic, Bailly, Lindelof, De Gea, even Lingard and McTominay. Looking at Fred and Dalot - young players, who are meant to replace aging player and hopefully it would be easy for them to bond with the afoementioned.
I so hope his ideas work out.
