Out very soon, do you think it will be as good as the first?
I doubt it.
I doubt it.
But it was War Machine and Black Widow in it!
Yeah, the first one was a nice surprise, but I've got a feeling the sequel won't be anywhere near as good.
Well the Dark Knight suffered from it a little bit, what with them trying to cram Two Face into the movie at the end. That was utterly fecked up - I really thought they'd try and save him for another film, which would have made more sense.

Im looking forward to it.
Having no ACDC albums is not something you need to rectify.
Have you tried 'Back in Black?'I mostly agree which is why I don't have one, I like a few of their songs but whenever I've heard an album of theirs I haven't been too impressed with the overall product. The songs I like happen to be on the Iron Man 2 soundtrack which is essentially the best of AC/DC. As you can't legally download any of their songs, this album might be worth 9 quid.
On topic I will probably check the film out as the original was far better than I thought it would be.
Have you tried 'Back in Black?'
Excellent album.
It could go either way for me, I'm either going to come out shaking from multiple nerdgasms, or in an angry nerd rage. Seeing the suitcase armour has been worth one nerdgasm already.
I didn't watch the first one until monday night! mainly because it looked like the kind of movie I just don't enjoy but Iron Man completely took me by surprise and I can't wait now to see the next one. Downey Junior is quality!
Jay I can't believe you deprived yourself for so long.
“Everything fun and terrific about Iron Man, a mere two years ago, has vanished with its sequel. In its place, Iron Man 2 has substituted noise, confusion, multiple villains, irrelevant stunts and misguided story lines
Visual and CGI effects are the best and worst thing about Iron Man 2. The film relies far too much on them. They catch you up in the action but, unfortunately, nothing else does.”
Iron Man 2 isn't as much fun as its predecessor, but by the time the smoke clears, it'll do.
High expectations from the first movie may leave some wanting, but there's enough brilliance on display to leave you wanting more as well.
Iron Man 2 might not have the power or tone of the recent Batman film, but that's not what the filmmakers are after, and crafting thrill ride that's so easy and accessible to take in, it'll be tough to find a more fun way to spend a couple of hours.
Copy and pasted from the movie review thread, because my views are worth reading twice.
Iron Man 2 No, it isn't as good as Iron Man, but I was going in with lowered expectations and came out pretty happy. The action is good, Robert Downey Junior is good, Scarlett Johansson is a total fox, not bad at all. The Whiplash character was kind of weak, Rourke wasn't bad but the character's motivations were kind of flimsy and the last fight with him wasn't too impressive.
Overall I'm thinking 7.5/10
