iPod Touch (What a Gadget)

Apparently the itouch is a product of a cost saving mechanism... that took place! You do know that the itouch is the same thing as the iphone (without the phone feature)

Apparently the early iphones which had problems were returned as they found a major defect in them... So to save the money they had already spent.. Apple decided to make them into the itouch!

This is based on a rumour you can either believe it or completely ignore it in either case do not expect me to give you any links or info as I really so not have any! & well many of you might think now oh this guy is just trying to wind us up! But I am not! you can read all my posts till date as proof... I am not a WUM at all!

P.S Please tell me someone else too has heard about this! :nervous:

seeing as how the new ipod touch is different to the iphone in many small but significant ways, i doubt that very much. not so sure about the old touch though

I have an 80 gb ipod classic. The touch's flash drive isn't large enough for me. Great piece of technology though.

Shame they're shutting iTunes down:p

That in my opinion, would be the most ludicrous and short sited move ever made. Is the music industry so stupid that it doesn't realise that if people aren't able to buy songs for a decent price, they will just download them for FREE, as most people already do. The only time in the last 4 years i have payed for music (including albums and single's from shops) was on iTunes. If the price rise goes through, it will be economic suicide.

Anyone have it?

Last time when I checked in the PC World they said it has only a 16 GB capacity. The problem is I cant upload my 80 GB of songs in that.

Touch or no touch it dosent support the volume and if they start making 160 GB ipods the price should shoot up some where.

I got it, it's quite solid but the battery is poor and lasts too short.

I like Apple products mainly because I've found them reliable so far. I've had a few iPods and a MacBook and none of them refused to work at any point of time while my previou MP3 player broke down after two months and I had to wait over a month to have it repaired.

That I do Elvis, that i do. Us Southerners have money to burn. I like to think im also beating the credit crunch.
