When was the last time England had a bit of a difficult group?

I remember they didn't qualify to Euro 2008 because of Croatia and WC 1994 because of Flo's Norway(very good team, the equivalent of today's Denmark) and Netherlands.

I wonder what would happen to England in a bit more difficult group

Not really no. The problem is not the seating but the way racism is reported. For countries such as Italy or Hungary, it is simply blamed on just the "ultras".

I thought Grealish had initially wasted the opportunity there but the Hungarian goalkeeper had other ideas.

too bad they've missed some quality chances. Could have really taken them behind the woodshed, those pathetic fans would have certainly deserved it.

It's pretty difficult to get a tough group to be honest. Don't think any other big european nation can say they have a tough group.
