I was just about to comment. I've played on better pitches in sunday league!
Should have played Paciência instead of Andre Silva and pumped balls to the box. Impossible to play football through the floor.

We need to play it long more often, only time we did it properly we scored. There's no point for players being between the lines wanting the ball when it's impossible to do anything there with this pitch. Paciencia or Eder for Andre Silva should be the first sub.

When did Luxembourg become so good? I had them on the same level as Andorra and SAN Marino. But they are way better

The pitch is a bit of a leveller. Portugal would be out of sight on a decent surface.
