Internationals March (Euro Qualifiers)

Yeah, can’t be a pen if the ball hits hand

Not everytime the ball hits your hand is a handball. Fair enough If he's deliberating using his hand but he isn't?

Worst rule to ever come into football is that one, it should be scrapped immediately

England by far the better team here and actually dominating the midfield pretty comfortably (completely the opposite of the Euros final).

Chiesa was crucial in that final. Italy so ponderous in final third without him (and they've had space to run into with some lax England passing).

Might aswell chuck Gnotto on as he'll be direct at least.
Yeah where is Chiesa, he was such a great player whenever i watched him.

I'm just waiting for the per game Pickford doing T-Rex screaming at meteor of extinction moment, only reason i tune in.

If he hadn’t handled the ball it would have come to Kane ….stonewall pen imo

As mentioned, Chiellini and Bonucci for two. Don't think Verratti is playing tonight either, along with Chiesa?
Fair enough although given the way the game started, England should have cruised but Southgate is, as we all know, a clown

How is it harsh? Kane was going to chest it down and the Italian player deflects the ball out of play with his hand  About as blatant as you can get
it was nowhere near blatant. Handball has become farcical

Shit first half from us but who cares, two teams from each group qualify to the EURO2024 so the important games will be against Ukraine (and even if we finish 3rd there's still the playoffs).
We defeated England when it mattered, in the Euro2020 final and the UEFA Nations league sending them to the League B while this is a pretty meaningless game

I predict:

1. England to dominate the group, essentially win every game
2. Euro wankathon starts
3. England cruise through group stage
4. Wankathon intensifies
5. England put out in semis.

-repeat every 4 years-

How many will bite?

Verratti is playing.

Why is Grealish trying to be a smartarse with that finish, he tries to hit the ball with his laces instead of just side footing. He’s been our poorest player.

The ball hits his hand? Handball. People are weird nowadays.

Anyway Italy definitely missing the experience of Chiellini and Bonucci. I dont actually think this Italy team is that good.

To be fair we’d have been annoyed if that penalty was given against us. Dion Dublin speculated the defender possibly stopped kane chesting it down or creating a chance, if I heard him right. Not sure what he’s watching as Kane headed it at him :D

Three CB against the mighty Liechtenstein and 1-0 at HT. The Spanish Fernando Santos.

If we cut off players arms and give a penalty then fair enough but he intentionally has an arm

Waiting for the day it happens to a United player and will be uproar here

Gerrard making friends with Spurs fans (he said it is maybe time for Kane to move on from Spurs)

7 Italian players in the squads of the 3 champions league teams? That’s awful.
I know it’s not in the full squads, but even Englands 3 teams (Liverpool, City, Chelsea) that were in the last round have a similar number of English players in their starting lineups.

Wish I had the feed with Gerrard, apparently he criticized Mancini's tactics
