San Marinese keeper is channeling his inner prime Barthez.
Shaw is one of the best left backs in the world. Chilwell is not.Not true. I would swap out plenty of players at Chelsea. I’m more surprised by the reaction. You lot must think very highly of Shaw.
I mean, why? Chilwell is great.
3000Mudryk has got something of the Andre about him. Unfortunately it's Previn not Kanchelskis.
England have quite a likeable team now - all this 11 bar Pickford and Walker really.
No, just more highly than I do of the perennially injured Chillwell. This discussion was put to bed years ago when every Chelsea fan and their mother were convinced that Chillwell would keep Shaw out of the Euros team only for Shaw to nail down the spot and be the best LB in the tournament. Not true. I would swap out plenty of players at Chelsea. I’m more surprised by the reaction. You lot must think very highly of Shaw.
Greats a bit far, he is literally only in the team because Shaw is suspended.
A great player can be benched by an even greater player
I'm not saying Chilwell is bad don't get me wrong. Shaw is just easily better for me.
When Shaw has a good period this forum will elevate him to the best LB in the world. Only to write him off again when he has a few bad games.

Given Southgate's historic selection patterns that doesn't exactly weaken the argument for ChilwellGreats a bit far, he is literally only in the team because Shaw is suspended.
I have to mute Jill Scott. It really is like fingernails down the blackboard.

I rate Chilwell quite highly, Arsenal fans had a similar view of Shaw as you do with regards to Tierney > Shaw.I guess I just disagree with that assessment of both players.
That's Mackemism.I have to mute Jill Scott. It really is like fingernails down the blackboard.
Tbf to verminator he did say 'so far' and up until that moment he wasn't exactly doing awesome things. Is it just my eyes, or has Saka been dogshit in these games so far?
If you watch these two players on a consistent basis, how exactly did you arrive at the conclusion that Chilwell is better than Shaw? Very curious to hear your reasons.

No need to be aggressive, it was just one post. More so a bunch of United fans replying. I can see why someone who watches more of Chilwell over Shaw would have that view.Oh look, it's @WeePat derailing a thread with his pro-Chelsea schtick for a change. Give it a rest mate, its boring.

Thanks dad.Tbf to verminator he did say 'so far' and up until that moment he wasn't exactly doing awesome things.
He of course ended up with a great goal and a good cross/assist.

Shaw generally is quite underrated, I think he's probably the most technically gifted player United have. Shame his career has been a bit stop start with a leg break, Mourinho happening and then the post pandemic+euro season burn out.
FairI don’t think Chilwell > Shaw. I don’t think I even said that. I just disagreed with the poster who implied that the gap between the two is that massive.
Anytime junior.Thanks dad.
In fairness to him, he made one comment and got smashed on here.Oh look, it's @WeePat derailing a thread with his pro-Chelsea schtick for a change. Give it a rest mate, its boring.
Maddison on the right has a little feel of Sven playing Andy Johnson on the wing
Anytime junior.
