Holy hell, I did not expect that at all. That's actually the best outcome, and we actually did it :eek:
Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Our broken board as stumbled into the right appointment for once.

sensible decision.
Should've gone for rangnick after we had sacked Mourinho. Better late than never

This has to be good news …usually any German manager is a step up ..look at Klopp and Tuchel.

Rangnick, 1000% IMO. Not only is he a very good manager, his experience running clubs from the sporting director angle is unmatched - something else we need.

Happy days.

Quite like the sound of this two year consultancy add-on as well - the more football heads we have in key roles, the better.

SAF wears glasses, Moyes doesn't, LVG doesn't, Jose doesn't, Ole doesn't, Rangnick does. Coincidence? Don't think so.

I would have loved Eric just for the thought of a touchline beatdown against Klopp in the next Liverpool game. Klopp has the height and reach but I reckon the karate kick finisher would make the difference.
In all seriousness Rangnick could be a great appointment.

Excited about the appointment but will be playing it down until seeing him in action. Hopefully can bring some modern thinking to this club when moving into the role at end of the season

Just hope he steers us in right direction. Not expecting too much, just a lot more passion, a bit of a plan and hopefully a good run in CL and/or FA cup.

After all the Valverde, Garcia, Favre talk, was not expecting this.
We had interviews with 5 different people (including those you mentioned), and Rangnick's presentation was supposedly the most impressive.

Neither does Ten Hag tbh. But he is bald, as is Pep and Zidane.

So what we need is a bald manager who wears specs. Any big names fitting that description?
