Again, a person of your intellect should be applauding Blythy for the stance he is taking trying to clean up the forum. It will eventually lead to a better atmosphere for the likes of you wishing to engage in genuine debates.
I find it impossible to applaud an action that may lead to posters on this forum having to tip-toe around incase they offend the particular mod who just happens to be moderating on that one occasion when they make an adult joke(or a childish one).
What is it about the atmosphere around here that you're so eagar to change, the reason why people actually post here is because of the previous atmosphere alowed them to express themselves without fear of being chastised like a child for making an adult joke.
You all really are in serious danger of ruining that atmosphere by trying to sanitise it. I may not always agree with my fellow posters views but one thing that I do like is the fact that I can reply back in an unrestrained manor as longer as i'm not Rascist, sexist or overly or personally abusive, why are you trying to ruin that?
I assure you it was not personal. Abuse and language has been on the agenda in moderator forum over the last few days, especially in the football forums.
I don't think that you've personally chosen me to penalise I do however know that as a poster who post frequently but not excessively and doesn't spend as much time bantering with mods as others do I represent an easier target than those who do. You also haven't answered the question of how you can label somebody "uncle fecker" and still claim to be a moral crusade.
Your post and others sheds great light on some recent high level events that have taken place on this forum that I myself wondered about.
Just for the record i'll repeat it again the forum doesn't need cleaning up or changing in terms of the language that we use, what it need is a clamp down on innane posts and annoying posters who lack the intelligence to hold an adult conversation. I think I can safely say i don't fall into any of the above camps, especially seeing as the offence in question was not a post or a reply to one.
If you get rid of the posters who feel the need to take an adult converstion down the pan, whilst allowing everybody else to post in an adult atmosphere without fear of people taking offence at innocuous little incidents such as my own, then you won't here complains from anybody on this forum about how they are treated.
PS: you can also include my new tagline(which I love and don't want changed) as futher evidence of double standards and the futility of your moral crusade.
