Poor Zaheer gifts Sri Lankans victory, was very tight game but Sri Lanka had the edge anyway.

This. I'm mad about that six
I think everyone was rooting for Sachin to get that century.. it's like that with Sachin always, but isn't this a bit too much?

Fantastic partnership so far between Kohli and Gambhir, hopefully they can keep this up for another 6/7 overs at least
If you want to break a great patnership, post on redcafe. Great knock from Kohli and it was a record 3rd wicket stand of 224
We are looking like a top batting unit atm, best in the world by a fair bit. Our fielding has dropped again the past 2 months. It's sometimes pathetic the way we field with the amount of youngsters on the field as well.
Thought our ground fielding was good today, our catching was horrible though.
Kohli was brilliant to watch today. We outplayed them completely even without two of our best batters. Our Test and ODI batting line-up is really the best in the world.
I think our T20 line-up too, if Dhoni would quit promoting himself.
Anyway, look at today's result. Got there comfortably without Dhoni [promoting himself]. Dhoni's good at ODIs but I think his whole 'promote myself to anchor' thing makes easy stuff look tougher.
I would agree with that, he is a good consolidating batsman but when we need to score quickly, he just doesn't do it for me. Although his consistency has been excellent in the past few years and his wicket-keeping has also improved greatly.
Our T20 Batting line up is quite sensational tbh
Gambhir
Sehwag
Yuvraj
Dhoni
Raina
Rohit/Pathan
Obviously if Sachin is playing than replace Rohit with Sachin. Our bowling is quite shit though, you know things are bad when Ashish Nehra is your best fast bowler for the past 6 months
Delighted for Kohli btw, he is my best mate's cousin brother, have played with him loads of times.
I really like Kohli, followed him for the youth sides and even the Emerging Players tournament where he scored a century in the final. Great that he got his first century for India today and I hope there are more to come. It was a surprisingly straightforward victory for us in the end, good to see a youngster like Kohli really taking his chance - he's shown a lot of promise and today he converted it into a big score. Gambhir was impressive as always and 150* is one heck of an achievement. Have to say, was surprised with Sangakkara's lack of action, thought he would have put the pressure on us after our two openers got out early but we were given a relatively easy time of it - though our batsmen did also make it look easy.
He has loads of character as-well Kohli, made a century in a ranji match a day after his dad died. Gambhir is world class now days, the number of runs he has been scoring in the 1-2 years has been amazing.
Thought Sangakkara made a blunder out there by batting first, the dew made it hard for the Lankan Bowlers to grip the ball in 2nd Innings.
Ishant's form has been worrying, I would drop him and give Tyagi another chance in the final match.
Its been horrible lately. Sure he got 2 wickets in two balls in one match but he keeps loosening the screws thats been employed by the other bowlers. 20 runs in his first over syndrome and the lack of any variations deem him unfit for the shorter versions of the game. The lads brilliant in the longer version though.
We don't seem to have too many outstanding candidates lately. Hows sangwan doing? He's supposed to be the next big thing in that department isn't he?
Just hoping that he doesn't become the next Munaf Patel, Irfan Pathan or R.P Singh. The pitches are too flat for any of the fast bowler to perform properly though, let's hope Ishant gets some form back. Sreesanth's return has been promising but I don't trust him too much, far too inconsistent for my liking.
Sangwan has been doing well Clique, but I still don't think he is ready for international cricket
Is there any wonderful fast bowlers in world circuit these days? Morne was supposed to be one. Hasn't lived up to the initial promise. Who else?
You mean young fast bowlers, than in that case Mohammed Aamer of Pakistan is a special talent, just 17 and bowls very well. feck knows how Pakistan get so many talented fast bowlers although in the past they have been their own enemies, let's hope that's not the case this time. Parnell looks good as-well.
Yeah young ones. I tend to discount Pakistani bowlers for some reason. I really liked the looks of Mohd. Asif a few years ago and he seems to have come back in NZ tour. But hasn't again lived up to the initial performance.
Sohail Tanvir, whatever happened to him?
Yeah Wayne Parnell does look good. Sadly i'm struggling to name much more.
Ishant has been removed from the squad from the 5th ODI and also from the Bangladesh Tri-Series. Sreesanth comes back in his place. Not sure it'll ease our problems to be fair, but at this moment in time its a better choice to have.
Hope Tyagi gets a chance, its a dead rubber after all.
Tyagi's going to come up short, I think. He bowls with good pace and has a nice action, but to bowl on flat Indian pitches you need experience more than anything else.
We should stop judging our fast bowlers on how they do at home. Bowlers are more for damage limitation in the sub-continent.
edit:
I just realized the match's at Delhi.. maybe it'll be different. Delhi's pitch has been the other extreme for the last few matches there.

Can't believe you're actually sticking up for Ishant, he's been bollocks the past year in ODI be it abroad or in India. Seen a bit of Tyagi from the IPL, yeah decent pace and doesn't do too badly with the new ball. I'm being honest here and saying if he doesn't concede at more than 9 runs per over he'll be a improvement on Ishant.
But surely conceding 9 runs per over is unacceptable in any sort of pitch.
They are saying that tomorrow's pitch is gonna be bowler friendly, let's see.
That was more a general statement, actually. Not sticking up for Ishant. I actualy think he should've been dropped long back.
1 ball 1 wicket. Wonderful start for India. Tharanga goes after his stumps take a walk.
No Tendulkar, No Ishant. Tyagi gets the nod for the match. Looks like there's movement on the pitch. Nice to see bowlers get some assistance.
It's a good pitch for bowlers but still it's rubbish. The bounce is so inconsistent which was highlighted by Tyagi's first three bowls. One kept low, second was normal and the third was high. Nearly injured Dilshan too, Zak has been brilliant though. It's unfit for ODI's
Our Fielding has been again awful(till now)
The Match has been called off.
Not surprising, the delhi pitch has been poor since the last two years. Feel sorry for the supporters who came to see the match. There are some idiots in the DDCA, they should have sacked the pitch curator long time ago.
