India vs Lanka ODIs

england arn't gonna do much against you in the tests have you been watching any cricket over the last two years concerning england and test cricket.I'd say it would be the other way around.

and yes i dont think england will do much against us in the tests
one-days are a different ball game though

England have won every Test series for the last two years. Their one-day form has been average at best.

Are you a retard?

No, you are a retard.
No point arguing with you, just wait and watch English get battered in test series.

Look here crappycrapspastic, I am simply pointing out that England are much better at Test cricket than one-day cricket, which is true.

You're turning into Amol.

I am fully aware of that.
Any knowledgable cricket fans knows that winning a test series in India is one of the toughest thing in World cricket, probably winning one in Autralia more difficult.
Even aussies when they were on that world record winning streak came here, chanting " Last barrier" and all, went home empty handed.
English need to learn to counter spin first before having any illusions of winning or even drawing a series in India. I give England a 0% chance of winning the series in India, call it retarted or whatever you want to.

And the reason why we say England have more chance of winning Onedayers than Tests is because pitches in ODIs are not much different than pitches around in England.
Except couple where ball will turn a lot in second innings, most of them are flat throughout the match

If i say yes I am a retard then does that make my point valid and would you agree that england will be thumped in india

Well there's a series before that so it's a bit early to judge. But given England's recent form, a thumping seems unlikely.

My point was that England are better at Test cricket than ODIs whereas you seem to think England will fair worse in the Tests than in the ODIs. This suggests your concentrating on India's strengths and weaknesses rather than England's, which is understandable, given that you are Indian. With hindsight, perhaps it was a little harsh of me to call you a retard. If you're not a retard, I apologise. I actually thought you were talking about Pakistan at the time, seeing as that is the imminent series, and I hadn't noticed your location.

I've nothing against India and normally support them against most other sides but I've noticed a lack of respect from the Indians on this site for what England have achieved over the past two years and it would be nice to make them eat their words.

I've just noticed that you want to buy Nolan, so I was right the first time. You are a retard.

hehehe

Actually you would find most Indians were rooting for England during the recently concluded Ashes series, as they will be during the upcoming series against Pakistan. ;)

I'd say this tour of England to India will probably be one of the most closely contested ones in recent years.England have played some special cricket in the past two years or so and their Test side is one of the best in the world....almost as good as India and Australia.

They might've beaten the Aussies in England but I suspect bowling down the leg-side isn't going to help them beat the Indians here.I think, Slabber, that most Indians are still a bit disgusted at the type of tactics Hussein used, even though there was little else he could do..hence the sceptics(sp?).

And I'm rooting for the Pakis this time..don't want a fecking confidence booster for the Poms before they come here.

I hope there's an earthquake in Kashmir which splits off India from the rest of Asia and it sinks into the Bay of Bengal.

You should be banned weirdo..

Why come to a forum if your not going to listen to any opinion except your own idiotic and wrong one? In every test series in India, we start as favourates by default because we usually win(and hardly ever lose). Even this Aussie team failed a few times before finally doing it, needing a great deal of luck on the way. It was a freak thing, it could happen again, because England are very good ATM, but India have to go in as favourates.

Amol, we've missed you. Where have you been for the last couple of days?

it's favourites.

Did you watch 'Y tu mamá también' on Film 4 last night?

Classy film.

I've given up on spelling corrections. Amol still spells alot as one word, so I figured that we're fighting a losing battle.

No. Is Film 4 worth having?

Free view.

Depends, the films are generally good, and non-mainstream, but I've seen most of them, and suspect you probably have as well.

Good film though. feck knows how you pronounce Y tu mamá también. Had that bloke in it from the Motorcycle Diaries.

There is a saying in Arabic something to this effect "A real friend is who finds faults with a view to bettering you". Sounds a lot better in Arabic mind.

Plasma TVs have gone well cheap.

42 inch Plasmas for less than a grand.

The 60 inch ones are still expensive though. 7 odd grand.

I dont Know what "Vy" means, no such word, the second part of the word means f**k.

The phrase usually goes "benchod" which means sister f****r.

I know, Donaldo used it a couple of times on me.

Vychod is exit and entrance(how gay) in Czech.
