10 centuries in 5 years .. could do a lot better
gets a lot of starts .. if he stops throwing his wicket away he'll score many more

I actually got emotional after the game.

This is a big good feel factor for India.

Great victory. India's one-day and Test sides under Dhoni have developed a winning mentality which was the key in such a huge run chase.
Sehwags 80 odd yesterday was the key though.

I had fantastic seats.. was sat to the right of where the players come out on the terrace. Laxman got a standing ovation for only 26. I'll never forget the sound of the whole of my side of the stadium belting out "Sachiin Sachiin!" when he was on 98.

Unfortunately, I went late and missed Dravid's wicket. I got to see all the players I've wanted to watch except for Sehwag and Dravid. No interest in Dhoni's batting..
 
It was a very brave decision to give Sehwag MOTM. I think it should have been shared with Sachin. It really was a truly remarkable innings.

Sounds to me as if you're all very elighted and relieved to of beaten this team with apparently only one decent player in it?

I'm pretty pleased with how we performed, was expecting us to get trashed.

Good stuff England.

Now for a nice cup of tea to forget the sorrows.
 
I thought(wrongly) you were shit but you're pretty good at test matches. The bowling is good but lacks the killer instinct. They should've taken wickets, put us under pressure and used it to their advantange but they never really did that.

And once you guys get hit, you never seem to come back from it.

Batting depth is good, but no one really performed, did they? Strauss and Collingwood centuries.. Prior apart, everyone got out for a single digit score..

Flintoff should be demoted in the batting order in tests, IMO. Great bowler, but not a batsman for tests.

Aye, i'd agree with that.

Pietersen and Flintoff misfiring with the bat second innings hurt us, and we had no tempo to the innings.

It was inevitable, wasn't it? Sachin scoring a century to win the match for India and dedicating it to those who suffered.
 
Notice how all the Indians were quiet on day 1-4 and now they are back and rubbing it in.

Fantastic test match.. fair play to the Indians, I didn't think they would win. Hopefully the next test will be another brilliant game. Shame there isn't more than 2 test matches.
