Well, I'm still holding out hope.
Because ole tried to sign Eriksen and dybala but didn't think they were the right fit so clearly in market for a 10
Also possible that after giving andreas a chance to cover cm and seeing the level he brings there that we want to sign a cm now
Haaland was a no brainer so we had to try but with the age of our squad and our front men, an older statesman that doesn’t need to play week in week out would probably be a smarter move anyhow. Not as remotely exciting though.
As an astute Twitter poster pointed out, an actual tree would have contributed as many goals and assists in the league this season as our young Jessie Lingard, playing as one of a front 3/4.

Next summer we will pin the blame on the Euro 2020, then we won't sign January next as ole's position will be shaky (or ole would be gone and we would have a caretaker manager) then summer 2021 we will have a new manager who would give the new players a clean sheet
You'd hope the club would get all deals agreed before the Euro's otherwise yes you can see it a mile off

You think we already have one or two of deals already in place for January but alas not with this board. They will keep us dangling until the end of January and end up with nothing.
Oh man... BvB doesnt have a striker, they play with Reus or Gotze there. Little competiotion. Here he has to fight with Martial/Greenwood.

We have signed Sanchez and Mata in January under Woodward so it’s not like we won’t buy if a player is there. Unfortunately, Sanchez was a disaster but we do make signings.

Efficiency in terms of transfers is something the Glazers administration had always lacked. We haven't hired a DOF despite searching for one for the past 16-18 months
Nobody expects signings because of how poorly we conduct transfer business and the bullshit we spout to the media. That’s where the frustration comes from.
Martial is a winger, Greenwood is a kid. If a manager can't persuade his former players to sign for him then who can he persuade? No wonder why we are only signing British players ie players who respect the club enough to disregard whose managing us
With us it always ends with excuses. Now is january so it is hard to sign a player, then in summer window our excuses are how we don't want to overpay or how player wasn't right fit or something like that. It makes sense in some cases but bloody hell, it is starting to sound ridiculous.

We need 4 signings IMHO, which includes one DM, a no. 10 or playmaker, back up striker and a right winger. Really not sure that any of those are available during this window.
The likes of Sancho, Madison, Grealish are not going to be available during January and we should avoid bringing in players just for the heck of it.

We're not going to get top 4 without reinforcement in January. Based on our season so far, there are two things that can hinder our top 4 ambitions right now.
The first is the inability to break down teams and we need a creative midfielder for that. The second is our inability to score goals when Martial is injured and we need a back up striker for this.
I get the idea of waiting for the summer to buy the players we're targeting rather than panic buys. But if we don't reinforce in January and add a creative midfielder and a backup striker then top 4 is a dream

Kristoffer Olsson from Krasnodar. If i own this boy and player. I can quality assurance him. A consistent no mood player. I quality assurance him by saying and promising money back to you if you are not satisfy with him. Krasnodar got him about 4-5 mill euro back in January. So if United can get him for around 15-20 plus add on. He will bring a lot more consistent creative from deeper central midfield. Connection between defend and attack. This boy is really consist. The mould of Modric player. Will not score as much, but will be really important player. The mind behind United created chances.

I haven’t heard of any of them, but I’ll take ‘emCM nr.6/8 Kristoffer Olsson . Krasnodar. 24. Allround cm player. Beside being creative. He is a hard worker, aggressive and good to tackle too.

January Transfer window is irrelevant, we won’t be buying anyone. There will be lots of click bait but ultimately we will be told it’s difficult to buy this window and get ready for an exciting summer.
It's not irrelevant we need to do business. We won't but we need to. Especially when we need so many new players.
Squad is too think. First half of the season proved that. Every year we repeat the same mistakes and our fans make the same excuses.

We definitely need 2 players in January, we are still in the position of 1/2 injuries will ruin our season.
I ment a good striker. Dont prefer a false 9 at all. The reason Reus/Gotze plays is because they lack a good striker. Alcacer is hardly mid table quality. BvB has been looking for a striker for quite some time

Christian Eriksen could happen if we’re willing to part with more cash than someone with 6 months left should warrant. Spurs would accept a high enough fee

Ole will not get his targets in summer if he doesn't sign someone now. It's a bad cycle, and we've taken a very predictable stumble, again.
Haaland was the only hope we had of a Jan signing probably. No value in the market, concentrating on the summer window to acquire our targets etc. etc.
There will always be an excuse not to buy an expensive player. The problem is that we haven't had a manager who can work around that since 2013.
Last year we could have made top 4 had we strenghtned in January. Hopefully we wont repeat that mistake.

Timo Werner would be a very good signing for us. He's significantly stepped up his goal scoring output this season, is only 23 and won't cost too much given his release clause.
We aren’t buying anyone in Jan...no value etc and will have our excuses ready for summer when we inevitably mess up that window.
