Right, so Wii owners can't give the man advice on whether or not it would be a wise investment? Just because he asked were there any good games for it doesn't mean people can't tell him about the Wii as a whole.

Anyoo if I were to get a Wii I would get Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart and Metroid Prime 3 (They'd be my first investments).

Plus from what I have read the Virtual Console is loaded with great games, so my first buy on there would be Super Metroid

I'm not saying you should. I even agree it's a console to compliment others, rather than stand alone and should have many more quality titles than it does. My bug bearer isn't about the Wii or Nintendo specifically, I just a shame that typically people do miss out on classic games because they write off machines too early.
