I'm done

I checked out months ago but still watch every game. Just emotionless towards us. It's sad. No reaction if we score or concede. Never hated a bunch of players or a manager more.

As Jim said, we are impatient…to right we are, impatient as you have not sacked Ten Hag yet. Long ago you could see they down tools on him and he doesn’t care either, he’s off to Bayern

This went exactly as I expected. What else can you expect with 5th choice and 7th choice CBs.

I am not going anywhere though. Will be watching rest of the matches. It is what it is.

I remember we drew 0-0 with Sunderland at OT (i think it was) in 05-06, right at the end of the season and we effectively handed the title to Chelsea- some fans had an absolute meltdown and thought it was the end of the world

We finished that season in second place with 83 points. Oh what dark days they were

Ten post-Moyes years. I'm just fecking exhausted and I feel stupid believing (before every single game) that something could finally change... somehow.

It's not worth my attention, my time and I've given those managers, those players many many opportunities to prove me wrong.

I'm done.
See you next week.

The scorelines shit but honestly was more infuriated after the Brentford game. Tonight was entirely predictable.

Why is not worth your attention? We're fans aren't we? Of course you're entitled to be pissed off - I think everyone is, but we're fans because we stick with our club no matter what.

I think, the club seems to be putting things in place behind the scenes, so hopefully it's not too long until we get back to our glory days.

Anyone who is Ten Hag IN at this point in time is a WUM.

This is beyond David fecking Moyes level trash. I can't believe it.

100%. There’s no way anyone can watch that and think he’s anything other than miles out of his depth at this level.

He’s finally lost the dressing room now as well.

Did anyone expect anything tonight? Ive never seen such a disjointed united side. Mentally I switched off in the league probably after Bournemouth away. We don’t deserve any form of European football next year

Still my club, always will be, though there are times when I have to accept that it isn't actually my club at all, it's a failing business - I'm not sure there is anything left of the Manchester United ethos, that spirit that made it special. This is the worst season ever - I don't know much about the relegation year, but were they as truly dire then as they are now, with players who show no semblance of being a team? There's something very wrong at the club because even half decent players can play to a structure and show teamwork - we look like a group of men playing in a park on a Sunday morning having only just met. Is Ten Hag so bad that he can't mould them into a cohesive unit? Players - managers - there's something rotten at the core of the club. Either that or it's a curse which I've been saying for a decade.

That's the hope that I have. We have recruited top blokes in Berrada, Wilcox and Ashworth if he can force through the move sooner rather than later. With this trio behind the decision making at the club I feel we're at least in good hands.

I mean I’ve come to expect this now. Definitely checked out of this season.

Before a ball was kicked tonight I decided to watch Dune: Part Two instead. If that makes me a ‘poor United fan’ so be it, but I feel like doing something where I don’t want to claw my eyes out is a better use of my time.
Is dune 2 good?
Can’t be any worse than the game I just watched….

I've learnt to accept these disappointments. That's not a good thing really.

@OP - This is football. It's how it goes. You're never "done" with your club, ever. We all feel it, but it will make our next run of glory all the more enjoyable.

Tbh, our games are actually enjoyable atm and for all the wrong reasons.

Where’s that guy who announced he was leaving a few months ago as he was only interested in us winning? Did he ever log back in?

Let the guy vent. It was a horrible game, every player of ours should be ashamed, young, old, and everybody in between. And it was humiliating to watch.

What do you expect a passionate fan to say? "I still love my club and we go again next week"? Everybody grieves differently. Only a crazy person would not be upset today, if they are a United fan

You choose your team that's it for life, support them through the good and the bad.

I'm 50 this year so I've seen a lot of good and bad , but this season is up there as the worst i can remember but stop watching/supporting Never.

I hope you enjoy supporting your new club.

I also hope you find another club that is worth your attention and your time.

Don’t know why you’re dragging me into this; I turned off the match after the second goal to watch Dune II for the fifth time.

I’ve been ten Hag out since September and have thought we are a complete turd of a team since March 23. His signings in the summer certainly haven’t improved us either. As long as he is sacked at end of season I will be happy. I do think we will start to improve as a club under the new regime but we are and have been finished as a top club for a while now. It will take a couple of years to clear this squad of the mediocre players but 100% the manager has to go first.

I will be back watching us on weekend, wishing I wasn’t but United has been an addiction to me for the past 39 years and it will take more than this manager and players taking a big steaming dump all over us to stop me watching every week…then moaning about it!

We just have to look at Liverpool and Arsenal.

For many years, they probably felt the same. Then they did something we have still yet to do. They produced good football teams and, suddenly, it felt like their club again.

It will be the same for us. If we somehow manage to build a team that plays good football week in, week out, we will start thinking "this is Manchester United" again. It's not as impossible as it's made out to be. We just make it hard for ourselves with daft decisions.

The players, The managers, The owners, whoever you put the most blame and criticism on, I think, is fair game these days, we are a mess and yes, its exhausting following/ supporting/ loving this club at the moment. But one thing I know for certain is the love for this club from myself and, more likely than not, many others around the globe is not something any of them (Players, Managers, Owners) can ever deminish.

I was 7 years old and already a supporter of United, thanks to my Grandad taking me to 'The theatre of dreams' at every chance he could during the mid 90's, but one day, it may have been an easter present, we did the whole tour of the ground and to this day i will never forget the moment i fell in love with this club, the Munich disaster was first explained to me and how many lost their lives, the trials and tribulations the players and staff who survived and what they went on to accomplish. After we got back my Grandad shown me footage of the 1968 European Cup Final and in my eyes i was witnessing heroes.

I have loved this club passionatley ever since and will continue to do so! The players/ The managers, The owners will come and go but that history is forever! My hope now, and it may seem trivial and to dream like to some, is one of us, a fan, is taking the reigns of this sleeping giant, and i will once again, as always, hope and support this club through whatever comes next.

I'm getting ready to watch us vs. Newcastle.

Sometimes I hate this club so much and the fact that I'm so naive.
