Anyone else remember when The Athletic said United scouts rated him as a world class prospect?

He still might be I suppose but it isn’t aging well at the moment
 
Another who never understood the hype when he played in the prem.

Last nighr was a shocker but that happens to all keepers once or twice in their career, terrible for him it was 96th minute and cost Leeds a crucial away win.

However generally in seasons he lets in so many shots in at near posts he should be saving so to me he's no better than someone like Muric who's a lower end prem keeper.
 
I was one who thought he could turn into a decent keeper. He looks pretty shaky to be fair.
 
One of the worst I’ve ever seen. One of those where if your nan was in goal in that moment you’d genuinely be better off.
 
Watched a lot of Leeds games due to the heavy Welsh presence in the squad and I have to say Meslier is the biggest weak link in their team. So many better keepers even in the Championship or just wasting away on the bench at PL clubs.
