If you could have...

Cisse. A striker who can do what Ruud does with more dribbling and raw power.

Probably Gordon Strachan. Fergie is his idol.

I know but have you seen his performances and the goals he has scored for Real Madrid this year. He is playing at another level and remember he has got Figo, Ronaldo, Raul, and Roberto Carlos on the same team and he makes them look like reserves.

Henry would be my choice. For starters I believe he's the perfect partner for Ruud, the two of them would score and create goals for fun. He's stille young and already one of the best, if not the best, players in the world ATM. Then there's also the plus side of weakening Arse.

I will also choose Henry. He is a proven world class player, and his pace and ability to dribble is what we lack the most in our current squad.

has any1 seen the movie, there's only one jimmy grimble??? yeah well i reckon we should sign jimmy, he proved he's talent but decided to join man city, but if we make a good enough offer i reckon we could lure jimmy to united, and with those magic boots of his, who knows he could cause a bit of havoc lol :D :D

but seriously i couldnt go past shevchenko or ronaldinho.

Has to be Ronaldo. Think of it. Along with RVN he would scare defeces shitless. He has power, speed, dribdling ability, clinical finishing, vision and instinct. All round goofy good guy in my book.

Doesn't play many games a year though does he? ;)

Javier Saviola

Why - Because he is so young and has has so much more to offer.

Would have said Zidane, but although he is amazing, he would be slightly too old to benefit United in the way Saviola could.

Henry, best in the premiership atm. But outside that as a foil for rvn raul playing behind him, two good feet and can leap for a wee lad .

It would have to be Raul because he could just play off Ruud and he can just change a entire game in a couple of seconds.

Has to be Ronaldo.

He has it all, is young, back to form and I believe would perfectly complement RVN.

Its gotta be Alfie Haaland <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Henry for me aswell. His pace is unbelievable i have never seen anyone as quick as him.Kanchelskis maybe could be up there.Who are the quickest players in the premiership anyone know.

Djbril Cisse
coz he has pace, potential and other words begining with "p". :p
he is also, as far as i'm concerned the perfect striker to play with Ruud.

From a comedy point of view i'd like to see us buy Steven Gerrard
coz he has potential, but mainly coz i can think of nothing that would piss of the already confused Liverpudlians more. Imagine the press conference
"Ever since I was a small bin dipper it has always been my dream to play football as opposed to some rugby union hybrid , and now i can".
then we can play him in the reserves for a few years.
:D

how can you even smile :( he has the durability of a Bond girl
for me Raul Gonzalez, but that will never happen. :(

Can't believe the number of people prepared to name-drop but not give a reason.

Answer the fecking question!

With a swashbuckler like Ruud up front, what United need is some magic to go along.

First choice: Raul (more goals)
Second choice: Aimar (more magic)

Same, for the same reason. Henry is exactly what we're missing.

2 reasons:

1. He's already established in the premiership, so you don't have to worry about him not performing as well as what he did in the La Liga.

2. To see the face of Arsenal fans when it's announced. <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

Aimar - coz he's class.

cisse - coz he's class.

henry - yep you've guessed it......coz he's C-L-A-S-S.

hope that answers your question. ;)

Shevchenko. In my opinion, he's got everything, speed, skill, strength, scoring instint. He's been a bit underrated though, and didn't have a very good start this season. But I believe he's every bit as good as Ronaldo and not so injury prone. I like him more than Crespo, Henry, or Raul, but that's just my preference.

zidane - as he is the best creative midfielder in the world - and he does it on the biggest stages. just watched him against valencia at the bernabeu on tv and he ripped them... so zidane it'd be!
