One player to add to United's current squad, if money/negotiations/language barriers were not an issue, who would it be, and why?
 
Raul Gonzalez, because he would be the perfect partner for Ruud, could play next to him in 4-4-2 as well as behind him in a 4-5-1. They would be leathal.

Ronaldo, because alongside Ruud i think he would be lethal. Quick, strong, dribbling abilities.
everything we're looking for in a forward.
and i think he would create havok in the PL
 
raul - never happen but he's got the touch and he end's up at the end of goals all the time

Why?

Because he will be the best striker in the world, within the next two to three seasons, quite simply and our squad could do with some "Henry, Ronaldo" like pace, which Giggs used to be able to provide.

He's young - 23ish
He's quick, strong and has baggs of skill and if isn't for Kluivert getting all the press attention, everyone would know that he is one of the best in Europe.
He's scored goals at all levels

Hate to say it but at the moment (for this season) i'd love to have Shearer! He's scores goals, has all the fancy touches and he'll put himself about!!!!

I also like James Beattie, but not many people have mentioned him!
 
Even though our midfielders are world class I would give anything to see Zidane at Old Trafford. Zidane is in my opinion the best player ever after Maradona. The man is a genius who can do anything with the ball.

guti. young lad who just looks like he has a knack for scoring goals....granted he usually comes into real's games when the result is all wrapped up, but he still scores often. it would be nice to have a left footed striker as well...
 
I don't want to speculate but I have literally just seen a dark blue BMW M3 Reg.No. 99 SAF pull into St Mary's Stadium Southampton. Now SAF could be anyone and it probably is coincidence - but spooky.
