We're not going to get any deal done now except for Cilleson for, like, £30m.
Levy would demand 180mil plus OT for Lloris at this point of transfer window.

Answer: No. Because he would cost too much. Levy is too good at making deals and he would give Woodward a very expensive lesson.
For the right money, the deal can be sorted out very quickly.
I wouldn't leave Woodward in the same room as Levy though. This would be like leaving a convicted rapist, who is serving life for 1000 rapes, with a Miss World contestant, in a room, alone. You just wouldn't do that.
Woodward would end up paying £60M+ for Lloris and then smile to the cameras, like he'd just negotiated the deal of the century.

Erm what similarities do they have? Charlie Austin is just a lite version of Messi I guess.
He'd be the best replacement no doubt, but the fee we'd have to pay would be unreal, so it's just not viable (I would predict).

I'm starting to question his judgment in many respects, particularly with regard to personnel decisions.
In terms of PL keepers, a more realistic shout would be someone like Krul. He'd be a good stopgap I believe.
If he is gone... won't we have Navas as part of the deal anyway?
guessing he's pretty much a RM player by now, so now that my most prefered option won't happen, it's time to go to plan B - sign Oblak please.
