If DDG is gone should we get lloris

We're not going to get any deal done now except for Cilleson for, like, £30m.

Answer: No. Because he would cost too much. Levy is too good at making deals and he would give Woodward a very expensive lesson.

We'll never manage to sort out a deal with Levy in one day

For the right money, the deal can be sorted out very quickly.
I wouldn't leave Woodward in the same room as Levy though. This would be like leaving a convicted rapist, who is serving life for 1000 rapes, with a Miss World contestant, in a room, alone. You just wouldn't do that.

Woodward would end up paying £60M+ for Lloris and then smile to the cameras, like he'd just negotiated the deal of the century.

Threads like this are what's wrong with transfer day...

Great idea OP, revolutionary thinking, couldn't go in De Gea Replacement? Lloris transfer thread? or the various 100 other?

He'd be the best replacement no doubt, but the fee we'd have to pay would be unreal, so it's just not viable (I would predict).
He only signed a new 5 year deal last year so it's just not happening.

 Imagine we got Navas,Lloris and DDG because transfer didnt go through

No. He won't be worth what Spurs will want to sell him for. Rather give Johnstone a go if that twerp Navas doesn't want to come.
So to save money that really has no effect on us, the fans, you'd rather play Johnstone than buy Lloris?

I honestly don't know.

If by "Lloris" we understand "someone like Lloris" then I suppose the answer is "yes". But is it realistic?

I'm not convinced by Romero. But if the alternative is to panic buy someone, then I'd rather gamble on him and spend the season lining up a proper DDG replacement. The latter being what we'd do if DDG stays too.

LVG has a dubious history of dealing with GK situations. I don't trust his judgment 100% in that respect.
I'm starting to question his judgment in many respects, particularly with regard to personnel decisions.

guessing he's pretty much a RM player by now, so now that my most prefered option won't happen, it's time to go to plan B - sign Oblak please.
