there really is no plan to India's bowling. It's frustrating to watch. T20 doesn't require you to bowl spells, but they don't even bowl good balls. Zaheer bowling down the leg side, Balaji wide outside off, Irfan bowling length balls. It's just bizarre and amateurish.
I agree but i think our batting is as ordinary as it has been in a long time. All they need to do is hold a few more catches and they could be chasing 130.

well, it's an ordinary batting, but these pitches look fast and your lot will be used to batting on similar pitches. Not typical sub-continental pitches.
England could've potentially turned up with a line-up to win this tournament, but they(not helped by KP) have shot themselves in the foot.

Our bowling is so poor and still it's bizzare that we are playing only 4 bowlers. Ashwin and Pathan are both good lower order batsman, Harbhajan is a decent bat aswell. I don't rate Bhajji, but he's a decent T20 Bowler.

I know.. people keep saying it.. I don't watch India play Sri Lanka as a rule, so I missed most of his comeback. But I have been watching him in the IPL and saw the last warm-up. He seems to bowl the same exact way he bowled 2 years ago.

Might take some stick for this, but really Jadeja should've been in the team. Quality fielder, decent bowler and good batsman. Would've added balance to this team. Also as much as I love Yuvraj, he shouldn't be coming ahead of Raina, Rohit etc.

He's a good IPL player, just doesn't do either bowling or batting at international quality.
You'd have to drop Yuvraj to accomodate him and I think I'd prefer Yuvraj. As good a bowler as Jadeja is and a better batsman, even now.

Afghanistan threw that match away...could have had a huge upset. 14-15 wides, 2-3 dropped catches, costing them an extra 25 runs, not to mention a couple of hilarious misfields.
But India got the job done, and they'll be happy...they can't play any worse than that, and they still got the win. A loss would have put a real spanner in things.
