Don't think so to be honest. We're not a great team this time around. At least this is just a group game. We normally destroy the group and then collapse in the knockouts. Maybe this time we can do the reverse.

I personally think you're much better than this.

Should be good fun to see how AB does this. I hope he has a go at it. Kyle Abbott is a decent bat, if i'm not wrong?

Yeah we better than this, but we've definitely been built up too much this tournament. We're clearly a step below Aus and NZ, and maybe even India.

Our bowlers can bat a bit but this is seriously high pressure - can't expect much from them.
 
Toss just decides the game,SA should have batted first.

What sort of twisted moron pulled that logic out of his rotten colon? Surely they can't still be using this ridiculous method still? You bowl out a team and what do you get for that? Chase 10 more runs? Makes absolutely no sense!

It's sort of a best of worst solution. Anyways, the thing is, the team batting first was unaware that they'd have fewer overs. That's why it gets adjusted (I think).
 
At some point Sohail Khan has to bowl and he's going to cost some runs.

Amen!! Was thinking the same,they have bowled them out, so how does increasing the target make sense? Surely there must be some better method out there than D/L..

Edit:just read MDFC explanation.. So maybe there is an explanation however stupid it might be..

This is a massive massive loss for SA. They're now going to be immense pressure every time they chase.
