What makes you think we are going to get to 300? We are kinda struggling here a little bit technically. Look at how the run rate has dropped. It has dropped from 7 runs an over to almost 5 runs a over in less than 4 overs.

I think India have five batsmen who've scored more than our top scorer, Umar Akmal.
But don't you have batting till Razzaq which only leaves three bowlers who can't bat?
You wouldn't be able to tell with the way some of them have batted this World Cup.
That's thing. 300 is not a foregone conclusion at all right now. Need to build a nice partnership here.

I am no expert but I'd hazzard a guess. India have always had great batsmen, the viewing public admires and aspire to be great batsmen and hence a greater talent pool of batsmen as opposed to bowlers whilst it's the other way around with us?
Thats very optimistic. Only because Sachin is still there do you have a chance of scrambling to 250+, which will just not be good enough having decided to bat first.
I'd still be very confident if Sachin was at his best. But he's scrapping around.
