Amir should get the final wicket. His spell at the start changed the game.

That's me. No meltdown from me. But yes, I got death threats and Islamophobic emails from you guys (was it you????) that led to members getting banned. I think you'll find it was not me who had a meltdown but the people in that thread, who were all reprimanded.
I'd suggest you stop RIGHT THERE and not escalate this or make it personal or Ill report you. Are we OK on this?

Time for some fresh blood in that middle order.
 
Finally beaten India in a big game!!

Good sportsmanship at the end. About time these teams played a proper series & some test matches.

Agree Yuvraj needs to go. Dhoni has been a class act and hate to say this but he needs to be phased out too.

Yuvi for Manish Pandey seems an obvious change. Dhoni's a tricky one. I'm not convinced he's a good enough batsman anymore but are any of the keeper batsmen waiting in the wings good enough glovemen?

Absolutely. Dhoni has been done for a while but got a Tier 1 contract just because of his name. Yuvi is almost done. Given how important they were in the middle, it'll be quite a task to replace them. As I said before the chase, it was all on the top 3. You can't have that vs attacks of this quality while chasing big scores.

What an incredible performance. Sensational bowling after a terrific batting display. All of them were great.

The way we've responded after the first game has been tremendous & credit to the team & coaching staff. To dominate England & India like we have has been unexpected & superb. Love it!!

There's some very good youngsters in this side. Hopefully they continue to get better & more consistent.

Agree with the conclusion but not the reasoning. I don't think this match was evidence of that. Middle order or not, after losing 3 wickets like that we weren't going to win.

Would be nice to see Pandey, Rahul(the next world class batsman from India imo, altho not sure where he fits) get into the regular 11. Problem is replacing Dhoni.. not sure there's anyone knocking the door down.

I would also like to see wrist spinners tried. They're important in this format of the game the way pitches are right now. Jadeja and Ashwin were simply not good enough all tournament.

What's our next top 7? I agree Yuvraj and Dhoni need to go but I just can't see who slots in where. All our backup batsmen are top order, it feels like.

Dhawan, Rohit, Kohli, Rahul, Pandey, Dinesh Karthik? Rishabh Pant?, Pandya

Maybe that.

Yes, it is a problem that both Rahane and Rahul fit in better in top 4 if not top 3. 5/6 position is a real problem for us. May be Rohit can be tried as a middle order batsmen.
