Ibrahima Konate

Huge blow. It will sound biased but think he's been the second best CB in the league this season (after VVD).

Hopefully Gomez and Quansah can step up.

I don't like any of their players really, but I have liked Konate since he did the survey corps salute as a celebration. Not that I feel any sympathy for him getting injured either, but this is the first time I've ever noticed his thread on here and had the chance to say that

Potential red against Wolves. If it was any other team the player would've been sent off. Two they have got away with in the past 7 days, Van Dijks elbow on Richarlidson also.

Yeah I only had one eye on the game so I missed one of the incidents in question. But the commentators were adamant that he was 'living a charmed life' and should have been booked for each of three incidents. They stressed it multiple times. But of course it being the scousers they got away with blue murder and he only received one.

No surprise to see Slot hook him at half time.

Do folk believe this? It’s the worst thing to infect the terminally online football chat. Liverpool fans are equally daft on this subject. Everyone has a persecution complex. Listing bad things about a rival while ignoring any decisions that undermine the conspiracy.

While it wasn’t so much online chat in the 90/00s, you may recall the narrative that United and the manager had refs in their pockets. Rivals went knee deep in this stuff back then.

I wonder why it’s Liverpool these days? I wonder if there’s a direct correlation between a team doing well and their rivals finding reasons for such a situation. Reasons that don’t relate to team quality but to nefarious underhand factors that are deciding matches.

Without question, it’s the most boring element of any footy forum. It shifts chat away from football and just acts as crap therapy for the disappointed fan.
