As far as I'm concerned the tie has been coming for a long time anyway. And in all honesty, the last thing I'd have wanted was to play them when we were still on that winning streak against Benitez. They've had their pride restored and now it's us with something to prove to the world.

Many on here seem to be underrating Torres and Gerrard. Torres has the skill, pace and ability to make quality defenders look shite. He skinned Rio and Vidaa a couple of times yesterday and made them look like pub players.

After that, how can any of us want to play them again? They were totally up for it, we were gutless. I don't see any reason to think that that would change all of a sudden.
