It’s a frustrating trend of us having to fit square pegs into round holes. We did it with dalot when he was playing well on the right. Now it’s looking like we’re gonna move someone else into a new position (Bruno, amad?) as they’re looking good in their preferred spot.
Hopefully can move past this sooner rather than later and have 2 reliable players in each position.

Appreciate that Hojlund and Zirkzee have been poor, but I think the correct call is to give one of them a run of games to try to build up some form.
Hojlund has had plenty of starts, Zirkzee deserves a chance with a run of games. First season in a new country as a young player, getting used to the league, doesn’t feel right to be freezing him out.

While i 100% agree that we need to replace both our strikers, this is harsh on Zirkzee. He never got run of games to prove himself. One game in and one game out since Amorim took over.
With Hojlund is clear that he needs to go but i would give Zirkzee a chance to prove is he also out this summer or he can stay as backup.

We’ve been worse going forward without a striker than we were without one, you can’t play a 3-4-2-1 without a striker and a false 9 will only work in a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 where the striker and 10 interchange

I would stick with it, try Amad or Garnacho there instead. Ideally get another forward in but there is no point starting Zirkzee or Hojlund, they are shit.
