Dipper in my work has been ripping me constantly now for 2 days.
Though when I mentioned Liverpool playing the victim card again after the Paris fiasco, she didnt speak to me for a week.
They can give it out but can never take it. Just wish we didnt give them so many opportunities

I know, I’ve just not digested the result yet. I’ll watch some champions league and be back in the game by Thursday. For the last two days though I’d have preferred it if the season was over and we had 4th and a cup done and dusted.

Very unlikely they win anything this season. We already have one trophy and a path to two more.

Agreed but they’re only 7 points behind us with 13 games left and with City still in the FA cup, Arsenal, and Juventus still in the EL I don’t fancy our chances in those either. It feels like we’re closer to the end of the season than we are, still loads of football yet. If we bounce back strong in our next two games everything will be fine, but if we don’t we could be in massive trouble by the end of the month.
We’ve beaten City and Arsenal this season already. They have beaten us too. No foregone conclusions.
We also beat Barca and played some lovely stuff over two legs. Juve aren’t having a great season.

generally no, most just like the banter/chat. We do have one guy in for football hooliganism during an England game though and he’s a liverpool fan. In prison he is fine but on the outside definitely not. Probably has one too many beers and becomes a sore loser.
Anybody gave anything back to your Liverpool mates? Hahaha. I did. Enjoyed the moment, even if only for a night. Memes of those empty trophy cabinet with a 7-Up and the parade bus from the CAF. They were largely OK since they dished a lot to me last week. Just trying to retort back that this 7-0 memory will last for generations.

I didn't understand that sort of talk. Pretty daft. Especially the ones who said a cup wouldn't be remembered in years to come but this single league game would be.

I wasn't playing on the pitch nor are the people who send the messages so it doesn't bother me, bad day for United and I dont attach myself too much to defeats it doesn't have any influence on how I feel that week.
Its a bad defeat to our largest rival, but its 3 points top 4 a cup or two the Glazers selling and i'm happy this year.

Grew up with pathetic Liverpool fans at school in the seventies going on and on about their success. the present b/s doesn't even come close. Laughing it off, especially now after their "wonder show" against Bournemouth

Got bought enough 7up last night in the pub I could open my own 7up shop , everyone thinking they were the first to think of it. The Bournemouth result yesterday made it a bit easier , but it is going to be a very long time before last weeks result is forgotten about.
