27th May 1999

Bought the shirt on the 28th May

Hoping my Mum will buy me the new shirt on 1st June. Then I can be a proper fan especially if I get a Man Utd baseball cap for Christmas.

I've also got a David Beckham poster on my bedroom wall.

early 80's,
my brother made me promise to be a Utd fan as even back then we used to have little gang fights in school, Utd vs Pool,

our leader had a Utd bad on a stick and vice versa,

Mid fifties. Supported City too actually, until I was about 12. E g in the 56 cup final. It was quite natural in those days. Bert Trautmann was great. A forerunner of Schmeichel, forty years earlier.

1994-95 watching highlights on Sunday afternoon thanks to ESPN's coverage of the EPL. After watching the 95 FA Cup Final, I became enamored with Manchester United. They reminded me of my Dallas Cowboys, whom lost the 95 NFC Championship to the (later found to cheat the cap, winning by breaking rules) 49ers. Followed them ever since. I also remember SportsCenter showing the clip of Cantona's kung-fu move for like 4 days.

nahhh, glory hunter I am ;)

Since 1983. My father cheered on Brighton in that fa-cup final and I just had to cheer on the red ones... Thanks dad for not cheering on United, I'd problably had been a Brighton fan today :p

78 - lost 2-0 to Bolton. Frank Worthington scored both. Was gutted.

Still am.

Since 1997 when we lost to dortmund second leg. I liked the way we played and i liked the shirts and i was pissed when United wan unable to score. Since then, i went through highs and lows with United and got to love them. <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />
