House MD

So as expected. He hired kutner, Toab and 13.

CT Bitch would be back for some arc though, how long I dunno. Also Cole would be back. And it is not looking good for Chase and Cameron. They could be cut soon.

13 can't act though. Kutner and Toab are quite unconvincing too. I hope they don't fire Chase and Cameron and find some ways of them getting back to House's team. Foreman this season has been just a useless character, I hope they give him a better storyline. It is quite frustrating to see Wilson given a small role in each episode. I hope the producers sort this out.

Yes, 13 has started to annoy me for the poor acting. Think they need to act another dimension to Kutner, probably make him go to even another level of risk taking which even House would not approve. Toab's useless, can't see the thinking behind hiring him. Cole would have been a good choice with all the religion jokes by House. :D

Don't think the fans would like it if Chase and Cameron are cut altogether. Or is there any news that I haven't read about the possibility of them being cut??

I lost interest when they rearranged most of the cast. One of the great things about that show is the dynamic between the characters. You can't just cut most of them and expect it to remain the same.

The same is true of Boston Legal, who, between the third and fourth season, cut half the cast and replaced them with more annoying characters who can't act.

It's a show that has been going on for 3 seasons. People will get fed up if they go with the same formula all the time. They had to do something to keep the show fresh hence the reasons for going with a new angle.

House's latest season 4 episode 10 just aired 1/29/2008 in US : It's A Wonderful Lie synopsis

...and available for download on torrents ;)

New epi aired again last night..Yes yes I know you guys are thinking, "wait it isn't Tuesday!?"

But apparently Fox aired a new one last night after the Superbowl..

Season 4, Episode 11

May I stress just once more that...
13 (Olivia Wilde) is one of god's greatest gifts to mankind..
Effin gorgeous!

It's a shame two of my favourite shows (House MD and Boston Legal) both went shit the moment they entered their fourth season.

I noticed that too with both shows..

Will definitely still be sticking with them..

The occasional Alan Shore closing arguments where he rambles on with his speeches are worth it alone..

I used to enjoy the rivalry between Brad Chase and Alan Shore..
It's like the wagers, bets, wierd cases have reduced..Used to make for really good viewing..
Cannot stand the Jerry Espenson character!

"Denny Crane" :D

You may want to see a film called alpha dog then, she gets a little naked in it.

Last nights episode was ok, didn't really need the cable story and the wilson girlfriend story though, if they had kept one of them the episode would have flowed a little better in my opinion.

There is still an episode tuesday so we get double house this week :)

I don't like House's new team and House has become even more antisocial to the point where I don't like him anymore -- it'll reach a point where he kills someone but we forgive him because he's a "maverick". More, though, the storylines are just more repetetive than ever.

With Boston Legal it's a bigger shame, because I actualy liked that more. Alan Shore is fat, Denny Crane doesn't do anything worthwhile anymore, and in reality would have been deposed by the board long ago, and the new cast all suck. John Larroquette is the best of a bad bunch, but the new "English" girl (who is so stiff upper lip that I don't believe Americans still think Brits are like that) is awful. Denny just bumbles around doing stupid things, Alan sleeps with anything that moves (which was alright to begin with, but now he's morbidly obese), and both Clarence/Clarice and Jerry Espensen make me want to die. I cannot stand either of those characters; they're awful creations and the fact that every other episode revolves around them fecking up somehow and Alan having to help them just shows how far the scriptwriting has fallen.

In fact, it's not just those two shows, either. I loved Heroes, too, and that went shit in its new season. And Stargate. 2007 was cursed.

IMO, the new team is actually similar to the old team.
13 constantly contradicting House with beliefs that people can be good, like Cameron.
Kutner constantly trying to suck up to House, like Chase.
Taub is probably isn't that similar to Foreman, but he didn't need to, as Foreman is still on the team.

I for one thought the last two episodes were very disappointing. The Xmas one was good, that's it.
