Alright folks, I've been thinking about after some debate in Hectic's hip-hop thread. Just name your top 5 best hiphop artists or rappers from whenever. This includes old school legends and today's mainstream and underground artists. I will add up the scores based on 1=5, 2=4, 3=3 and so on.
Furthermore, no questioning someone's voting. At least not in this thread anyways. Just state your vote. The deadline of voting will be determined by how many voters we get (I'm not sure if there are many posters that listen to rap or hiphop enough to name their top 5 list.

honourable mentions (in no particular order) to NWA, Eazy E, Big Pun, Sheek Louch, Cam'ron, Rakim.
 
I'm not that much of a fan of rap/hip hop but I still do like some of it.

1. Kanye West - Just brilliant songs most of the time.
2. Ludacris - Like a lot of his songs, good lyrics, etc..
3. Eminem - Grew up listening to his music and still like it
4. P Diddy - Consistant, good music.
5. Jay-Z - Liked a lot of his stuff back in the day but not so much now.
