Heroes

Just read that Missy Peregrym was in vol. 1.
Always thought she was hot, but just can't remember seeing her on Heroes. What did she do?

I can honestly say I have never watched an episode of this show, but it does sound interesting. But you can;t come in late, it's like trying to watch the Sopranos from Season 4 on, you need to do it the right way and buy the DVDs but at this point, I dont feel compelled to buy any Heroes seasons on DVD
 
Well I'm a few years late but recently started watching and just finished watching the two seasons and gotta say it was good, season two wasn't a patch on one though. Hopefully they have learned from their mistakes and season three will be better. Suppose to be quite a few new villains in which should make things more interesting. A major character is gonna be killed off as well.

Supposedly he has already shown it, got a feeling it might be something to do with how he has visions of the future. He was doing that before he met Hiro when he originally saw himself flying. He was also having a dream of Nathan and his wife just before they had their car accident.
 
I think season 2 was cut short because of the strike. Looking forward to season 3.
 
Such an awful show. Poor dialogue and predictable. Characters aren't even worth knowing about.
 
Season 2 started off promisingly then the strike set in and the ending was rushed through. Shame really. Hopefully, the pace of season 3 will be like the first.

So, anybody know what Peter's MOTHER's(!) superpower is then?
 
Is it only me who thinks that some of the additions are just awful.

Maya - how annoying is she? And over dramatic. Hope Sylar kills her.

Lightning girl - she has a really odd face and there's nothing likeable about her.

But worst of the bunch, by a country mile.....

Caitlin. Is there a worse actress on the planet than this girl? Every time she opens her mouth, I just cringe.

Maya's just sexy though :drool: By far the worst addition I feel was Micah's cousin, the copycat girl. Are you watching Heroes on BBC Livvie? Meaning there are a lot of spoilers in this thread for you as I and many others have already seen the whole series.

She does look nice there. I think it's just a couple of shots I've seen of her where her face looks distorted, like she has a tooth abscess.

I don't mind Micah's cousin - compared to Caitlin they are all wonderful. Just listen to those short jerky sentences where she is trying to sound Irish. Half the time you can barely make out what she's saying at all. You can't tell me there wasn't a decent Irish actress available - or at least an actress who could do a passable accent.

I am watching on BBC, but I haven't read right through this thread.
 
Caitlin is indeed one of the most annoying people on television. Her acting is so artificially forced it's actually painful.

i must admit it is my least favourite of all the shows I watch. The acting is quite poor at times. I don't rate Milo Ventimiglia one bit.

If Season 3 doesn't do well I think I might stop watching it. I've never done that to a show before.
 
What other TV Shows do you watch? I've seen all the 24's (3 times - That equates to 432 episodes watched:cool:), Prison Break, Rome, The Riches (Season 1) and I'm in the middle of House Season 1.

Lost, Dexter, Entourage are all on my list though, they seem to get a lot of attention.
 
LOST, Prison Break, Heroes, Scrubs, Family Guy, Dexter, Simpsons and South Park are the main American ones I watch.
 
Never got Scrubs of Family Guy, don't find them great to be honest. Simpsons seems to be losing it these past couple of Seasons, and South Park is just South Park - Great:D

Not a fan of 24?
 
Never got round to watching it. It's so many seasons in it would take me forever to catch up.

Scrubs is amazing.
 
I'd be literally horrified if someone pointed out to me a stream in which i could watch this tonight.

A shy gentleman was preparing to board a plane

when he heard that the Pope was on the same flight.





"This is exciting," thought the gentleman.

"I've always been a big fan of the Pope.

Perhaps Ill be able to see him in person."


Imagine his surprise when the Pope sat down in

the seat next to him for the flight.



Still, the gentleman was too shy to speak to the Pontiff.

Shortly after take-off, the Pope began a crossword puzzle.



"This is fantastic," thought the gentleman.

"I'm really good at crosswords.

Perhaps, if the Pope gets stuck, he ll ask me for assistance."


Almost immediately, the Pope turned to the gentleman and said,

"Excuse me, but do you know a four letter word referring to a woman

that ends with the letters 'u-n-t?'"


Only one word leapt to mind...


"My goodness," thought the gentleman,

"I can't tell the Pope that.



There must be another word."
The gentleman thought for quite a while,then it hit him.



Turning to the pope, the gentleman said,

"I think the word you're looking for is 'aunt'."


"Of course," said

the Pope.

"Do you have an eraser?"
