Did i miss something? Isnt this Mkhitaryans performance page? I do like the guy. Ive always have. However, Man united was my first football club and is still is numero uno.
It is but you don't post anywhere else or ever about anyone else. It's really weird.

He is not weak mentally. Not everyone is meant to play in the biggest clubs. If he was mentally weak, he wouldve never recovered from difficulties during his career over the years and come back even stronger. It is very normal when a player is pushed aside to lose confidence. It is temporary. One or two goals and assists will bring his confidence right back. Lets see what happens.

He is ridiculously mentally weak. So much so that it was common knowledge prior to him signing. He has consistently gone through poor patches whereby his head drops and he doesn't have the mental fortitude to bring himself out if it.

Even at a smaller club with zero pressure like Dortmund he had these mental problems. It was an error on our part signing him as at United the mental part is at least as important as talent.

The pressure on him was 10 times higherat Dortmund in the beginning than at Man Utd. He was the record sighning and everyone was expecting a lot from him. It was super hard but hr managed to become the bundesliga player of the year. United fans are just super impatient. Not just with Mkhi. With every single player, except for Pogba probably a d to be honest Pogba is world class and a different level player.

I do, not much thou. I wish i could. Im limited with the number of messages. 5 a day and i waste mostly those here arguing about Mkhi. I should stop that because it is futile. Im not even allowed to type in the main forum.

His situation is pretty much fecked. I don't know how the hell he'll be able to get back in the main line up.

Could be in trouble. Lingarrd is making the position his own. Might see him for the CL though because we need to rest a few for the derby.

This is all on himself. He was given more chances than anyone in that sort of form should be given, to the point where we all were starting to question Mourinho for persisting with him.

We'll probably get a decent fee for him in the summer, he can still be very good at a club with less pressure.

It's his own fault the kid, who's actually not a kid, is being played and performing consistently better than him.

Will Pogba miss the derby? Could see Mikhi favoring his position

I dont think Mikhi is the man for the derby. He was not great against Chelsea. I would stick with Lingarrd. Maybe play a 4-3-3 with Herrera and Fellaini. Hopefully Fellaini is back.

Hasn't the whole "Bundesliga player of the year" thing been debunked numerous times?

There's no pressure at Dortmund as they aren't expected to win anything. Even in that cushy environment he went through periods of abject uselessness. At a team like Dortmund though he can be awful in 15 consecutive games and still be guaranteed a start and a few pieces of luck and his confidence is back.

At a club like United we can't accept 15 dreadful games on the hope that a lucky break will cause him to be a useful player again. That patience would cost us trophies.

He needs to go somewhere comfortable like West Ham where he can stink up the place for months on end and still end up their player of the year with a flurry of assists over half a dozen games.

Dortmund has done better than United in the past 10 years. It's not a small club by any means:)

Think you might want to recheck that  10 years? make it 5.

With Pogba out for three games, he needs to come back to the squad, Mourinho can't afford to keep him out of the team completely.

Sorry Jose, am a big fan of yours and very happy that you are our manager and with your work. But I think you should admit you got this signing wrong and cut your losses ASAP.

Mhkitariyan is a nice chap and tries his best. But his character and qualities are not strong enough to thrive at Manchester United.

Sell in January and replace with Ozil please.

I think he may come back into the side but won't go straight into the starting XI and rightly so

He was invisible in the games that Pogba was out injured for.

What are you jabbering on about 10 years?

Let’s see

3 champions league finals and one won

Europa league won

FA Cup

4 league titles

2 league cups

World club

You are delusional if you think Dortmund have been better than us for 10 years. Where as we have won everything there is to have won plus a league title that is twice as hard four times.

Ok, 7 years. The EL helps a bit, but Dortmund did better domestically. I'm not here to compare the teams by all means, but some of you guys are out of it if you think Dortmund is a small club or there is no pressure there.

I really feel for him. Loads of talent! Just need a stronger mentality. He needs to hangout with Zlatan more.

7 years? Better domestically? What are you smoking? 4 premier leagues compared to two in the last 10 years. We play in a tougher league. We never nearly got relegated in a weak league or spent any time in the bottom half.

Look at the trophy haul last 10 years and it pisses all over what Dortmund achieved. Credit to Dortmund for winning a league but that was more down to Bayern screwing around appointing clowns like Klinsmann who pushed them back a few years which allowed Dortmund to catch up.

It’s funny how you come and say this in a Mkhitaryan thread. The very same player who left Dortmund despite them being in the champions league to play for a bigger club.

Nobody is saying Dortmund are a small club you just making stuff up. But they nowhere near us. If they were a big club then they wouldn’t have issues keeping hold of star players rather than them going to Bayern or elsewhere.

To be fair, Jose has dropped him completely from 3 of the last 4 squads.

He has actually heeded your call.

I'm surprised Jose has dropped him to such an extent, he went from start after start to not even making the squad.

Mkhitaryan looks like a very mature and intellegent guy, with the skillset he possesses for the life of me i really have trouble understanding why things aren't happening for him. Others have mentioned it before he gets easily knocked off the ball and makes mind boggling decisions when on the ball.

Some BVB fans mentioned it back in the day that because of his fragileness he won't make it under Mourinho. I think United's attacking 'system' doesn't suit Mkhitaryan at all nor does the aforementioned one.

The big question remains why Mourinho bought him in the first place, because the good and the bad was there to see.
Because the initial plan was with Zlatan who for a no 9 is quite well rounded with play making ability. While Mkhi didn't do his best, he did decent enough to reach acceptable achievement last season. We now have Lukaku who relies more on support so we can't be hesitant playing around with Mkhi. Trying to make it work when it would mean over 200mil investment (Lukaku, Pogba, Matic, Bailly, Lindelof) in the core of team gonna waste as we may end up failing to achieve our end goal. Discarding Mkhi who intially fee was under 30mil and getting complete the core is reaonsable approach at this point given he is afforded chance to turn thing around. Taking last season achievement, so it's not 100% useless signing. Just underwhelming signing.

Play him vs CSKA, I say. We are through already. We could do with a creative outlet in the derby after Pogba missing out. If he puts in a performance like a man out to prove a point and regain his spot, we could at least put him on the bench or if Jose fancies it, a starting spot vs City. An inform Mkhitaryan could change the fate of the match with just one magical moment. A bit of a shame that all this is most likely wishful thinking though.

Mkhi would get bullied in the derby. Keep him away from the City game.

I'm not necessarily saying we play him in the derby straight away because Pogba can't. Let's give the guy a chance mid week. Let'see if he can conjure up some kind of form. It wouldn't hurt to have a creative option like him, when we are 0-0 around 70 mins and Ligard/Herrera is completely gassed out.

Yeah, maybe off the bench.

Lets hope that chance is Tuesday against CSKA Moscow, and he proves himself.... or else I dont see him coming back.... the negativity around him is overwhelming.

Dude, I'm not saying United is not a bigger club by statue, I'm saying DORTMUND is not a small club, there is pressure there to play and fans expect them to win things.

I'd take that in a heart beat.

He came through being written off at the start, so hopefully he can find his footing again.

I'm confident that Mkhitaryan will be back soon and firing. I don't think that after 1 and a half season we should be giving up on him. He needs to improve and obviously has the ability. However, we need to be patient. And he needs to improve quickly.

Jose explained why.
He said that Miki has been getting worse, with the progression of time and despite being given so many chances he is having stinker after stinker.
To that end, Jose has lost patience and dumped him.

No, you are saying that. Jose did not say that. To be fair, Matic-Pogba, Martial/Rashford, Miki, Mata and Lukaku worked fine until Pogba's injury. So now Pogba is back, Miki should get a chance, as well as Mata. Btw, some of you would get disappointed by Ozil's disappearing acts if he comes here.

Even though he has been disappointing, I hope he gets a chance vs CSKA and prove his worth. He usually performs better in Europe and I think that might be the case again. Plus, after two scintillating performances, Lingard should be rested and incubated, frozen, whatever means necessary to keep him fresh and ready for the derby.

There's some pressure there too, but it's nowhere near the same. Pretty much everyone, including the BVB board and fans, recognise that they can't compete with FCB in financial terms. Hence they adopted a model of buying (and playing) young players instead of experienced stars and hence they sell and lose their biggest players continuously. Some even to FCB. They are a big team, but essentially a minnow compared to them. The expectation on FCB to win the Bundesliga and "things" is tenfold what it is for BVB.

By contrast Man Utd is the richest club in the world and the most successful club in the history of the EPL. The pressure is basically same as with FCB only with much much harder competition.

So not saying that BVB are a small club, but in terms of pressure it's certainly a notch or two down.
