Still the main guy on the ball for us tbh.. but he needs to be that and also be a proper threat on goal. He's a world class ball carrier but we need him to be a match winner too.. on a consistent basis. He has it in him.

Looks like he doesn't fancy the cold day at Stoke. Some nice moments but very easily bustled about by Stoke's defensive players. Visibly shaken by it e.g. the shanked shot from 12 yards into row Z.

I started to think that but its not fair tbh. He's still showing for the ball in good areas albeit tight ones and still capable, as he showed, of creating opportunities when he has space.

Whether we win this or not he is such a special ball carrier .. one of the best dribblers I have seen

He is a fine dribbler but he's been pretty bad at actually kicking the ball today

Got into great areas and did nothing.

Thought he was good, just lacked the final ball.

Consistently got in great areas and was working hard - the latter of which can't be said for most of our team today.

For a highlitghts type of player who isn't involved much in the game he should be having better end product and be more dangerous.

despite all that ability he should have and showed he showed pretty much nothing for the last few games, I am keeping fingers crossed for him but I want to see more, maybe someone more direct like Rashford would do better today

I have doubts he can actually win us games like today. Sure he can score a scorpion kick 2-0 up against Sunderland at Old Trafford which is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. I'd trade that goal right now for a match-winning performance today. IMO, a lot to prove still.

Rashford had his opportunity, and did nothing with it. Why Mkhi was subbed off idk but he was by far the most forward-thinking player in the side.

He was subbed to Lingard not Rashford. But Lingard was absolutely awful too!!

He should have stayed on. He has put someone clear in the last 3 games and everyones missed their chances. As for his air shot, the pass from Valencia was bouncing all over the place.

For all his nice flourishes, there isn't a massive amount of end product at times. Hopefully it's just still him acclimatising.

He always plays on the half turn which is great. When Rooney and Lingard came on, the first instinct is to pass the ball to where it just came from. With Mikhi, it's to turn and run at the defence.

The one time Lingard did it, he goes on to hit the bar. It's one of my favourite things about Mikhi.

Yeah he skied a bobbling pass, but he could easily have 3 assists over his last 3 games with proficient finishing. He is putting chances on a plate for others, they need to start taking them.

Fair. As a collective though, the attacking unit needs to do more. Beyond Zlatan, the goal / assist stats of the rest of the team is very underwhelming.

Creating one chance per game and making two or three runs through the middle every game is far from enough when he is barely involved in anything else. He needs to be more dangerous up front if he is going to play in flashes and start scoring/assisting goals. He is not the only one who isn't getting assists, Herrera played the ball to him against Liverpool too and he missed very good chance, same today after Valencia's cross.

Needs to up his end product game. He gets into good positions to do nothing or just pass it out wide. Go for it Micky, dont be afraid.

Mkhi misses a pacey striker to put through on goal, if he had a pace merchant like Auba to assist to he would rack up a ridiculous amount of assists.

Thought he was a bit crap today. One or two nice moments but loads of sloppy ones too. No biggie. Still settling in.

Thought he offered little in the Liverpool match as well as, today was a bit better as some nice passes to Ibrahimovic who should have done better. Average in the 2nd half though, so I didn't get all the moaning about taking him off.

Really don't know what game some of you are watching, he was by far our most threatening player, while Mata was largely anonymous. He creates counter attacks with his half turns and excellent dribbling, but he needs the attacking players to get on the same wavelength as they often seem to struggle to keep up with play.

He must be a joy to play with. Opposing players get drawn to him, creating space for others.

Missed a glaring chance but he looked our most likely to make something happen with his mazey runs.

If we bring Griezmann in and have Martial actually make off the ball runs he will be ruthless, just like he was for Dortmund. He was an essential part of the cog.

The amount of times he picked the ball up behind their midfield, drove at the defence and had only a static Ibra ahead of him was very frustrating. It was like he forgot that running behind was what strikers are supposed to do!
