Help please admins..

He should remain banned for use of text speak in his MSN chat if for nothing else.

So.. anyone gonna look into this thing? I really dont think it was him you know.

Patience, dear boy.

The problem is that even if someone else has access to his account, possibly via gaining access to his email, we can't just let him back in without knowing it's secure

I wouldn't be surprised if he really got his account hacked. He looks like a real computer illiterate.

Computer illiterate or not, he was (and is) quite a popular poster. Dunno who would have done it.

Point taken noodle, just making sure he has not been forgotten about. He is just worried people are thinking bad of him at the minute, and plus of course, he misses us all :)

come one admins, i really miss tony, he has made a lasting impression on me. let him back in.

Well he says he hasn't posted any pictures of him since he was in the Newbs. Someone else did, and from what he has told me, it sounds like someone has got into his account..

The images posted were from his IP address.

it wasnt the images that were the problem, it was the PM that was sent following it.

curiouser and curiouser. let us let caesar decide. what say you caesar?

caesarbush.png

pretty damning evidence there.

it wasnt the images that were the problem, it was the PM that was sent following it.

But if he did post the pictures in the first place, then he's already lied once.

No he never said he didnt put the photos on, just that he only did once, and not again after the warning.

Having never seen this thread in question, I have no real idea what is going on, but I doubt its him who would have sent an abusive PM..

I think the only way to solve this once and for all is to ban muller as well.

As in, no new ones. Might have been a typo by me.. :(

Sorry, its hard to keep track really.

Should start a group. If Deidre bloody Barlow from Corrie should have one, I think Tommy deserves one.

I find it funny how people can treat forums like some sort of magical place and then they act like planks by begging to come back in...its a forum.

check the fecking logs from the admin panel

tommy had the same fate as pert only faster

Message from tommy -

i did say i posted a tommy pic of myself with my face edited on a man utd player yesterday, fair enough i might off broke a rule, which i am sorry but tbh when i got a pm from sultan on promotion regarding images i thought it meant the naked pic but also i never read forum rules in any threads, my fault for not checking

but yes obviousley i posted that pic yesterday so it will show my ip, but regarding pm i did not recieve neither did i reply back 2 sultan & become abuisive 2 him, rest assured sultan would of got a nice reply back & i wud of clearly apologised for breaking any rules.

Well, my view on it is that if somebody riles you enough to ban them, I'm pretty happy they probably deserve it. Your not exactly Weaste in the banning stakes, you actually use reason and intellect to guide your decisions!

Weasstie was/is OK - with his cojones then things would have been better on the caff sooner than later

i endorse this because he said he wouldn't ban me if he was still a mod.

The problem generally lies with people being allowed to get away with things such as:

Abusing children in europe, like your kind self, Elvis.

Which is clearly against the rules, and is a 5 day outright ban for me. Said person who posted that will then see that he can get away with such behaviour and up his boldness over time. The admins would like to point out that they are not Nazis and do not ban people for lighthearted crap (the Nazi analogy is in itself highly offensive and bannable IMO), but the truth of the matter is something inbetween not wanting to be Nazis and also not being able to cope with the workload required to monitor this website.

On the one hand they want the newbie forum because it creates too much disturbance (read work) if it was not there. But then lackies are appointed to oversee it because nobody has the time (read having to do some work) to look after it.

It was my idea to appoint moderators, but then they half arsed that as well.

Forums are very simple things, and I do not understand why the majority of admins here do not understand that. If you want mayhem, then it's very easy to achieve. If you want order, maybe even some seriousness in the football forums especially, then a whip needs to be hung on the wall in the mod room to lash out at people. It's all bollocks this treating people nicely and they will behave themselves, it doesn't work like that, it's an internet forum not a school for special needs children. A few bad apples amongst the 1000 decent posters can feck up the forum pretty quickly, but "oh, he didn't mean it, oh, go chat to him and tell him not to do it again". How about, do it again and you're gone, or not even bother, just gone without the chat.

The silly thing is that they will run around like headless chickens closing and merging threads (look at the Ronaldo one) for an hour when 100 of them on the same topic get posted and think nothing of it. Think nothing of it? It should be a base rule that if you post a duplicate thread one week after it was originally posted then you are out on your ear. There s one way to reduce the workload.

me being on here the whole time makes me the ideal mod. i put my name forward. though that kind of power would turn me into a power hungry maniac, intent on ruling the world. i hereby withdraw my name.

He'd ban me!

To be fair, although not quite as hardline, I concur with Weastes method of moderating. But as I see it, Sultan has done exactly what Weaste would have here. Just with less showmanship and baldness

weaste always goes over the top with the baldness.

Thanks to muller & sultan for there co-operation regarding this fiasco from sunday, Just to let everybody know who participated in this thread that i am totally innocent & also im very gratefull to be back

All best Tommy :)

Weaste should stay out of the mod forum unless he has something constructive to say

good to see you back tony. how i have missed you.
