The comma is what bothers you about the title? The title doesn't need that comma does it? I wouldn't have thought so.
Can we please do something about the comma
I was going to mention this one - we left early to beat the traffic and scored walking across the car park outside the ground. My son wouldn't speak to me for a week !!Ashamed to admit it but I left early for the Macheda goal against Villa. You could feel that something was about to happen from the atmosphere and tension but I went with my uncle and he had to be somewhere else in the evening we had to dash off as the additional time was announced.
Got in the car, turned the radio on then heard it instead. Gutted.
Thanks. It was bugging me .@AaronRedDevil, sorry, I just had to change the title!
George Best also didn't see the comeback I believe. He was at the stadium.
1999 European Cup Final
As soon as it was 1:1, I dashed to the Fridge to get more beers ready for Extra time
George Best was at Old Trafford in 2010?
That was a great night.Had to work but stopped watching Crystanbul at 3-0. Was resigned to Liverpool wrapping up the league. Checked the score later and thought it was a mistake until my brother texted laughing.
Tbh I'm against leaving early generally, if nothing else because its inconsiderate to the people who want to stay and watch the game. Think I'd have been leaving early myself that day though!!I know someone who left at half time against Ipswich circa 2001. We were pissing the league for the third year in a row and the game was already won at half time, so they left as it was freezing and a dead atmosphere. That’s the level to which United fans are spoilt.
I left early when City scored the 4th in the 6-1. By the time I’d got out the ground it was 6. People kept shouting outside that’s it was 7, 8, 9…
Never knew they put that message on the tannoy mate. What an awful dayThe only time I’ve left Old Trafford early was the day of Hillsborough. We had just gone 0-2 down against Derby when the message came over the tannoy that ‘any fans inside the ground who are from Merseyside, should make their way home immediately’ . We were (we lived in St Helens) so we did. When we got in the car we realised why.
