He can't help it if he's put on to play on the wing can he? That's happened a few times this season as I recall.
And he was supposed to be our next but one link striker - Paolo di Canio's understudy. Now he's got no one to understudy and he's been thrown into the deep end. Credit to the kid, he's doing okay considering.
Still, he's a tryer and Hasselbaink isn't and that really is the crux of my argument. Skill aside, which Hasselbaink has bagfuls, the next most important thing is attitude and effort wouldn't you agree? Now of this stuff Forlan's got a shedload. That's enough for me.
